Big game for both clubs on bank holiday Monday.
Wycombe are under a bit of pressure with Bury breathing down there necks so will be desperate to get something from this game. If they lose this game they would be 7 points behind the Albion with 5 to play.
Expecting a daw to be honest which will suit Shrewsbury and Bury.
It will be a tight game which I'm hoping we can sneak the win in. I'll go for Stuart Beavon sneaking the only goal in a 1-0 win.

I'm going for a 1-1 draw for this one, hope Beavon doesn't score as he left us under a cloud refusing to play and then moved to Preston, no Wycombe fan would have begrudged him for joining them it was just the way he went about it. As i said before Terraceman i'm not bothered about the title but for us to get promoted in 3rd spot would be incredible after last season.

Yes I think Shrews fans really want that title, me I will be happy to get promotion same as yourself.
How many fans are you expecting to travel up ?
Hoping Derby's faltering promotion push will help increase the home contingent, we've not got 5,000 in for a game yet this season but that may change Monday. The fans have really got behind the lads the last few weeks so there should be a good atmosphere.
A massive achievement for your club to be featuring at this end of the table this season, for us its hopefully 3rd time lucky having lost in the play off semi's and then final in the last 2 seasons, mind you this is the best team we have had.

Well we can't be accused of playing defensive as we're starting with 3 strikers Fred,Hayes and Holloway.

Burton keeper deliberatly picks the ball up outside the area and gets just a yellow card, fucking shocking decision by the ref, refs poor decisions can mean the difference between playing league 1 or league 2 football next season or the conference for other teams.:mad:

Yes, they can!

Did the Burton goal keeper deny a goal scoring opportunity or merely just handle outside the area? If it was the latter the ref made the correct decision.

McLaughlin just misjudged a long ball, yellow card was the right decision.
A very tight game in which the best bit of quality of the day, McGurk's goal, won the game. Wycombe didn't create much but the save by McLaughlin near the end was top draw. I think it would take an almighty collapse for Albion not to go up now and I hope Wycombe make it too.

Can't see us going up in the top 3, our squad is the smallest in the league and yet another injured player Sam Saunders who wasn't fit for today. Our players are looking a bit tired after what's been an incredible season for us all considered and we only had 5 subs today. On to saturday and Cheltenham at home suerly even we can't fuck that up!

Sounds like a frustrating game but we've managed to get the rub of the green with a fair proportion of game changing ref decisions this season, and you can't expect to get them all.

Just a relief that Bury lost. We're seriously running out of space for slip ups though.

Bury and Southend are running out of games though, especially if Wycombe win their next 2 games at home against Cheltenham and Exeter.

I think the referee saw it as accidental rather than intentional. I'm not sure the ball was outside the box but his feet probably were, Mousinho was the nearest player to the ball other than the keeper.
We had an onside goal chalked off the previous home game against Stevenage and at Plymouth on Friday Akins was clearly fouled by McHugh as he equalised for the hosts so I guess the things even themselves out over the course of the season.

42 years.
Dunno what you mean I meant the time you got promoted that time cos refs consistantly cheated on your behalf like the time he invented a goal what barely crossed the 6 yard line. You can stick your 42 years pal.

Remember when you cheated to gain promotion or are you not out of nappies yet?
