Party time.

Last home game to cap off a fantastic season, and time for a proper celebration.

Another 3-1 win.

Agard, Flint and Wilbraham.

1-0 Saddlers, Morris SCREAMER.

Spoil sport Saddlers.

I genuinely don't think any City fans would care if that happened.

Tempted to stay at home and watch the PNE game, we've already had our promotion/title parties, pitch invasion and lap of honour

I would! I want us to finish the season on a high and I want us to go into next season unbeaten in 16. I dont want us to lift the trophy on the damp squid of being beaten at home!

They are, the expression is "damp squib" a squib being a type if explosive used in mining, hence a damp squib would lead to failure to detonate.

So no damp squibs please, let's finish our stint in league one with a bang.

4-0

So the 4th best defence in the league will leak 4.

Against the best team in the league it's possible.
We were excellent on Saturday and the last home game was one of our poorer performances so I reckon the players will want to send the faithful home happy for the summer.
3-1 and we get to see if Bradshaw is good enough for our side.:pond:

3 times actually :D

I am not of the opinion that we are going to win, but still confidence is high and J O'connor and J Chambers have formed a pretty good partnership.

YOUR confidence is high? Ours isn't too bad either!
In all honesty, this could be any result as neither team have much to play for but, then again, we didn't last week.

Yup it is, and as suggested above I don't think we will win.

I think its a tad redundant to suggest, yeah 4-0 easy.

I don't think anyone said it would be easy but 4-0 isn't beyond the realms of possibilities. Unlikely maybe but not totally mad. Charlton beating Bournemouth 19-0 is mad!

I really wouldn't be surprised for 3-1 on the basis of how many times we've had that result and would be typical to finish in the same manner.

Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing a fit Bradshaw. I'm pretty sure we were rumoured to be sniffing around him in January (I think) so maybe back in for him now that he's fit.
Championship standard Saddlers?

Maybe after another couple of seasons plying his trade down here, starting 40 games+ and not 29 over a 55 game season. He's better now for us, than Deeney was in his final season here. If he starts 50 games next season and this month with a specialist at Loughborough over the summer actually works, then he could score 30+ next season IMO. That's when BIG fees starting being mentioned. What did Assombalonga score? 35? £6m for him.

He isn't physically strong enough (something that he's working on, told our local radio he's put 5 kilos on over the course of the season and he entire gym regime is currently working from his waistline up) nor experienced enough for the Championship yet.

I really hope you're joking

Most likely I will go, can't actually remember the last time I missed a home game out of choice. I couldn't really be bothered with Chesterfield last week but at least there was guaranteed to be a good atmosphere. That won't be the case at Ashton Gate on Sunday

As it's our day I think Walsall will give us a helping hand to enjoy victory.

4-1 us.

JETx2, Flint and Agard.

Bradshaw to score for your lot then us fans to say how we should sign him ;)

Proper pitch invasion this Sunday - bollocks to the FA threats, I imagine there will be at least a dozen pitch invasions this weekend, as there are at the end of every football season.

I had me fun last weekend on the pitch. 99% sure I'll stay off it this time, as will most others so the trophy can be presented.

I'd like us to sign off with a win, but not too bothered. 1-1.

We had one for our last home game last week, standard. Strange and quite embarassing to see grown man in replica shirts from years ago running across the pitch to tap James Baxendale on the head and tell him he's shit. We normally travel well noise wise, so with it being a split home end and you in party mode, I'd expect a reasonable atmosphere. I'd say there should be 600 odd Saddlers, we travel ok on the final day for a small club. Don't think that would be too bad considering it's a sure fire dead rubber and we will probably lose to Brizzle...again.

Think that's a pretty good effort to be honest - nothing riding on it, a nothing game really.

Hope the segregation is fairly small, the more tickets we can sell, the better. Feel deeply sorry for those who are missing out on this game.

I'd take another 2-0, repeats of Wembley please ;)

And you get to see us presented with another trophy :2thumb:
