No point trying to predict anything with us, so fuck knows.

We really need an away win, though.

Might be going to this - got a mate who's a Notts fan (who lives in Bristol), he's got no-one to go with by the looks of things and wants me to go with him...

That'd probably double our away following, so go for it.

We need to pick up our league home form at some point.

We're in very good form, that being said we lost Bodin and Gos for the last game and although we are appealing, if nothing is overturned Easter will also be out leaving us quite short up top.

Leaning towards a draw.

I think County are probably better than their league position suggests and will gradually climb the table, so I'm expecting a tough match. Especially if we're missing 3 of our best attacking players, Bodin, Gosling and Easter.

With our depleted squad I'd be fairly happy with a draw.

According to Darrell, the referee's report on Saturday stated that Easter 'head butted' the Mansfield player and that was why he was dismissed. Clearly this did not happen, so hopefully our appeal will be successful tomorrow afternoon and he will be available to play. Fingers crossed Bodin is fit to return because he has been outstanding recently and I think he will thrive in front of a buoyant Gas crowd.

We are in great form and I think we have to fancy ourselves tomorrow even though Notts County have the potential to be a very good team. At our best I am confident we can beat any side in this division - fingers crossed we can prove that and make it five consecutive wins.

Notts county should be far higher and probably will be when the new players settle down. We are in really good form though so il go for a 3-2 gas win.

Good news that Jermaine Easter's red card is overturned. Our second overturned decision of the season

I'm a bit surprised by that although it was never a red, they usually stick with the ref on that kind of thing.

Is Gosling doing well, Rovers fans? I remember asking a while back when he wasn't getting regular football and he wasn't overly rated by the majority.

Been very good this season, very direct and tricky. Also became his country's top scorer this season:bg:

Looks like we're playing 2 upfront so I actually hope we lose. The 'play 2 up front!!!!' weirdos are without question the most tedious and unintelligent drongo fans we have.

Bit disappointing.

Would have took a point at the start of the game, but Notts County game and bar a 15 minute spell in the start of the second half, shut up shop and apart from hitting the bar, we just couldn't break them down. Some good technical football on display though.

Have to beat Newport on Saturday now.

Meh, should have probably won. As miagsy says would have taken a point before the game so it was ok. Bit flat all round really.

Good point, first nil nil of the season? If we go unbeaten at Exeter it's a decent week

First half of football away from home without a goal in it!

Sounds like it's the first time we've gone away and been happy to sit deep and let the opposition control it, maybe a change of approach.

Happy with this sort of point, there's plenty of teams we'll be able to pick off playing that way with the quality of Burke, McLeod etc... We're just not going to pass teams off the park like we do/try and do at home on our big pitch.

Pretty flat game in all honesty. It's understandable why Rovers are better away from home than at home, because they massively struggle to break sides down when they sit back and play on the break, and I thought Notts were gonna nick it at the end, but it wasn't to be.

As for individuals, the only player that stood out was Aborah. Notably, I was looking out for him on Bish's reccomendation, and he did look good. Stead looked a shadow of the player he was a few years back, his legs seem to have gone. Sheehan was alright, and Alan Smith wasn't half as bad as I thought he'd be.

Aborah is playing way below the level he should be at. He's the best player on the pitch nearly every single game.

Stead has been awful, to be honest. Feels a bit like we're trying to fit him in because he was seen as such a coup in the summer, he doesn't fit the way we're trying to play at all. We're at our best as a quick team who move the ball rapidly in attack, but he just slows everything down and seems to get in the way.

Just shows how shit that ref was. He got our reds correct mind, No complaints there. Easter should still be banned for life for the dive alone I mean I know some players expect there to be contact but come on!

Flat was the optimum word I feel, crowd was flat, both teams seemed flat, wasn't quite what I thought it would be.

We will struggle to break down good defences that come and sit in against us, it did look like Notts had a more than capable defence and we didn't do as well going forward as we have in previous weeks. I'm going to put it down as just having a game in Mansfield that was very much a war of attrition and the travelling that goes with it, because we did look sluggish at times.

Thought we were much the better team in the first half and unlucky not to be a goal or 2 up at the break. We put some really nice moves together, had plenty of corners and goal attempts but couldn't quite find a way through. McChrystal should have scored after 5 minutes and Bodin was very unlucky with his shot off the under side the bar just before half time.

Second half was a bit more even - Notts started stronger, Rovers finished stronger - but I still think we had the better chances. Both Taylor and Easter had opportunities they've been burying in recent weeks.

County definitely seemed delighted with a point and I guess you'd have to say it was a well executed away performance.

Looks like Newport might be turning the corner after a very impressive 2-0 win away at Wycombe but a similar performance to last night and I'm confident we can pick up the 3 points.
