Near on/if not 10 injuries! Every season we have this, surely we’ve got to investigate why this is. McGoldrick out injured for basically large portions of the previous 3 seasons yet goes and plays a full season at Sheffield Utd.

Clliff notes;

- We're nowhere near where we need to be to get promoted
- Nothing is happening with transfers because of how the club is run
- He doesn't know what's happening with negotiations or why they haven't materialised
- Clearly baffled and angry with no flexibility in ME's budget despite the injury crisis.

He's massively pissed off. Another lethargic preseason from Marcus Evans.

Genuinely think he could walk if we don't bring in at least 2 or 3 more before deadline.

Sorry Tom_ITFC , in my haste I skimmed and you pretty much summed up what I then repeated in my post.

It's worrying. I do think with Lambert we'll challenge competitively regardless, but he's been shackled by Evans. Despite this, providing he stays, and even if the squad is not improved, I'd class us being cut adrift from the top 3-4 come May as a disaster on a similar level to last season.

We huffed and puffed but was not clinical enough today. Wanton finishing at times.
I came away fairly pleased as we did not play bad just not good enough today.
Ipswich will be up there im sure, they worked very hard.
Norwood is a giant Shithouse that will no doubt cause defenders problems.

A very hard fought win. Nice to see us edge out a game for a change. Not had that in us for a fair few seasons. Norwood seems a class act. Holy seemed a bit iffy on the ball but a clean sheet is a clean sheet. A game between two decent teams at this level
