Bury welcome Accrington Stanley to the JD Stadium this Saturday where David Flitcroft, Bury's manager will be looking for the same positive and dominating football he has seen over the last few games. Bury go into this game 7th in the league, unbeaten in their last 3 games. Accrington go into the game with only 1 point from their first 4 league games.
This game last season saw Bury win 3-0 a convincing win, although the return game at Accrington was a dull 0-0. Head to head stats see Bury leading the way with 10 wins, 5 draws and 4 defeats.
Bury's Daniel Nardiello is definitely missing from the match squad with a re-occurring groin injury, although with Danny Rose scoring 3 in his last 3 games and the experienced Ryan Lowe upfront Bury should have enough firepower to give them the victory. Club captain Craig Jones has been back in training this week and will be pushing for his place back, competition for the goalkeepers jersey is between Rob Lainton and Swhan Jalal who has fully recovered from his injury.
Accrington appear to have no injury worries, they have Luke Simpson back from suspension, but manager James Beattie may decide to keep ex Bolton trainee Jay Lynch in goal for them.
Bury have been playing a 3-5-2 formation and successfully as well, rumours are Louis Van Gaal has approached David Flitcroft for advice on how to play the system. It will be interesting to see what formation James Beattie puts out to try and nullify Bury's attacking style of play.
This could very well be Bury's starting 11, although Craig Jones will be pushing Nicky Adams and Chris Hussey could well be back in for a start at left wing back.
I personally cannot see anything but a win for Bury, but they will need to be alert at all times and not be complacent in any way whatsoever. My score prediction is 3-0 for Bury!!!
