Bury Vs Carlisle....

After that good win last week its abit more positive for Carlisle this week and after 3 very good away performances in a row it seems that we've turned a corner away having been the worst away side in the FL only a month ago.

good timing with home form to pot at present, but now head to an expensive Bury side which still seems to struggle at finding just the right side to attack top 3.

I suppose question is with Burys usual crappy pitch and bad weather will it be on?

Not sure tbh. Struggled to get above freezing so far this week and the rest of the week looks the same. We do have covers (not sure if they are frost covers or just normal ones)

I'm enjoying the stuff he has got us playing - it's very easy on the eye when it's going well - but results are paramount as we know.
The whole club are playing football the same way in all the sides at all ages, I credit Flicker for much of this and it can only be a good thing as the kids progress through the sides, Shirley?
I hope he can sort us out, get promotion and stay with us - I don't want a hoofball merchant thanks!
Big soft spot for all things Carlisle - place, people,ground and club - so I would like to think they will pull away from the bottom two.
The only thing I don't like is our poor head-2-head record vs. Carlisle, so please don't start your good run until after Saturday !!

end of day Bury currently have better more creative players than we do so a grubby pitch which hinders them abit and balances it up abit is a good thing.

Today is a game to show if we have the fight to scrap our way to safety, a team better than us on paper, away from home and with crappy conditions, can they dig down, scrap and dig in

Yeah I think that's what Rigg gives us. You don't have to play especially brilliantly, you just have to get the ball in the right place and he'll give you a chance of getting a goal.

Ah, the commentary sounded fairly positive, that we never looked out of it like we would have done in the past, and had a couple of good chances that on another day would have gone in.

We should have turned the game on its head and won with those two chances at the end but it would have been fairly harsh on Bury, who were in control for the majority.
