Cambridge United v Oldham

We go into this game off the back of two win's in the space of four days and we now sit third in the league. Oldham picked up their first point of the season on Tuesday so they will be desperate for three points.

Jabo, Jones and Knoyle all still out injured but with a bigger squad this season we've proven we can cope without key players. I expect CC to freshen it up from Tuesday however.

Didn't know you were such a big fan of Lewis SVH. And to leave out Roles is just criminal in my eyes!

Seriously though, I think CC will go with your line up, seeing he's not a fan of unchanged line ups. Personally, I would start Smith over Dallas but only if he's recovered fully as he sure looked knackered after the Scunny game.

I expect Oldham to be well up for this game, and most likely will prove to be a much tougher side to break down than Scunny were. I'm going to go for a hard fought 2-1 win but then again when was the last time we won three games on the spin?

You know when someone is in a big accident and loses their ability to walk, and has to go through extensive physical therapy, and then being able to walk a couple of steps unaided before collapsing is seen as a huge wonderful achievement? That's what our 0-0 on Tuesday was roughly equivalent to.

No coincidence the return of Wheater coincided with the first clean sheet of the season, hopefully we can take confidence from that and maybe even score a goal.

Expect calderwood to change things round a bit, he’s definitely not afraid to change a lineup and I expect him to use the 3subs again. Shame both full backs are still out.

A fully deserved win for Oldham as they produced the perfect away day performance - have ten men behind the ball at all times and then look to counter with pace, and it worked out brilliantly for them in the end. Oldham were a bit shaky at the back at first but we failed to take our chances, but credit to Oldham as I thought their defending was superb esp in the second half.

As for us, it was simply a repeat of the Scunny game. It's fcuking useless having 80% of the possession and loads of genuine goal scoring opportunities in the first 45 mins only to then let the opposition score with the first chance they get.

Bloody hell, we’ve won a game! Normally a game I’d go to but didn’t bother - sounds as though it was less than convincing but we’ll take anything at the moment.
