Cambridge untied play host to Carlisle united in a fixture that hasn't taken place in since 2004. This was the season that cambridge exited the football league, despite That we still managed a 2-2 draw! Cambridge come into this game on a winless run of three games, however their performances in those games should give them confidence in the clash. Whilst Carlisle on the other hand are yet to win a game.
Carlisle will be boosted by the news that David Amoo is fit play while Cambridge united's squad is fully fit apart from Ian miller who is injured until Christmas. Cambridge have recently added two centre backs to the squad which they hope will help their leaky defence in the absence of Ian miller.
Cambridge will most probably name the same side that started against Morecambe, with the only change being Liam Hughes who will come in for Harrison dunk in the left mid position. Both sides should line up in 442 formation. Taking in to account the recent form I predict a narrow 2-1 win for Cambridge united. With our defence lacking and yet to be patched up it will be hard to keep a clean sheet however Cambridge's attack should see them through the game with a fit and on form tom Elliot and a league one standard Kwesi Appiah. Expect Amoo and Sweeney to be the main threats for Carlisle.
