Saturday marks our first trip to Cambridge since the 1994-95 season when we were both in the third tier.
Cambridge appear to be free scoring whereas we haven't even scored an away goal in the league since the last weekend of October. We beat Leyton Orient that day and subsequently, we've only scored 3 goals in the league since.
Dagnall and Lowe have both been awful since the Grimsby game 3 months ago and they can't play together. Coupled with the fact that an underperforming Ben Garratt won't be dropped as won't Daddy's boy and his equally incompetent defensive colleagues, we literally have very little chance of scoring a goal letting alone winning. I'd let Lowe go to Bury if we can find a decent replacement who offers something different. Not optimistic at all for this game, only going for the new ground and the socialising and I reckon we'll drop to a 4-0 defeat.
Davis will say how he's a winner, he won't quit and that results will change despite throwing the players under the bus whilst we endure another week of horrific soundbites before our Boxing Day defeat to Carlisle.
Just end the never-ending cycle now.
