Delighted for Carol our wonderful owner who has today been awarded an OBE in the Queens honours list.
Whilst she has revolutionised Port Vale after spending well above it’s worth to save us from Smurf and then turned the club around on and off the field her community work linked with the club and their Hubb foundation has been remarkable.
160k meals handed out during the COVID crisis from the club and she has been rightly honoured.
Football wise she sacrificed the Valiants chance to write the final chapter and potential play off chances for the good of the game whilst many were looking after their own interests and has been a voice on National TV and press trying to campaign for support for L1 and 2 clubs despite her own club being one of the more stable.
WelI deserved I must say. Shame we can’t give her the cheers she deserves tomorrow.
