Barnet having had a few decent results and being managed by The Westley are going to be a dangerous proposition, on paper though, we should win.

We'll see shall we.

We need to win.
I'm not sure that you can claim that you should win when our last 3 matches at home have all been teams who are far above you in the table and we have not been beaten by any of them.
Has Campbell-Ryce had much of a showing so far for you?

They also should have won, but that's not always how it goes.

Looked very good in his first couple of games, although the team performed poorly as a whole and the last couple of games have seen him as an unused sub.

Akinde pen has lost his mojo.

This season is just so, so traumatic. Everything that could go wrong, has. Fast forward to 6 months time and let's start again in the NL.

Have to feel for the Barnet fans, when you're down on your luck in this league you really are down. Sounds like they were the better team for most of the game and could all have been so very different. Our commentator thinks the referee missed a blatant free kick for Barnet right before our corner that led to the third goal.

Our team just cannot maintain a performance for 90 minutes. Add Akinde’s and Ross’s errors of judgement, inspired Curle substitutions along with Westley taking Mauro and leaving the cumbersome Clough exposed at right-back and a Carlisle win is the result.

That’s what we were all wondering at the time!
It's odd to say the least. The commentators on the radio didn't quite get across just how far out of the goal it all was, like I just assumed he'd flapped at a cross. The more you watch it the harder it is to figure out what must have been going through his head.

You can tell just how bad Akinde's penalty was by the fact that just after he takes it, in the top left corner of the screen you can see the ball flying past in the opposite direction, presumably having rebounded off the roof of the stand.

For some reason Akinde has lost all confidence in his old penalty technique, which used to work very well. This new one has a 0% success rate!

2 wins on the bounce, albeit against the two worst teams in the league, has given us a very slight hope of reaching those in the playoff pack, but we're still 7 points behind, and would need to win the majority of remaining games.

Nadesan has started well, played very well on Saturday and 2 goals from the bench last night.

Nadesan certainly made a difference as did the other two subs that Curle made simultaneously.

Less than a thousand home fans apparently...
You haven't seen us play this season!
Let me give the following reasons why our home attendance was so low last night (the lowest for a league match IIRC) in no particular order: We have only won 4 home matches at home, the weather was not inviting, there was Chumps League football on TV to compete with, a lot of supporters do not feel particularly enamoured with the club at present due to the various bad decisions that have been made since Martin Allen's departure and going to the Hive either from central London or Barnet on a weekday evening is a bit of a nightmare.
But yes, watching most of our matches this season has not been a pleasurable experience.

Akinde yet again living up to his name by having an embarrassing miss against us, don't worry Barnet fans if you go down because you are usually a good outfit for the conference.

You clearly have a different dictionary to the rest of us.

What word did I spell wrong? Who cares anyway it's not as if this is a formal discussion, it's just some internet message board thingy.

I'm not applying for a job Shoddy.

I rest my case
Attendances are irrelevant when discussing a team's competence otherwise Stockport wouldn't be stuck in their 3rd (I think) year in the National North.
