The Valley was a happy hunting ground for Town with two wins last season.

There might be a bit of needle with some Charlton fans not happy with their playoff defeat to us last season. That said the team we put out tomorrow, and it's anybody's guess what that might be with all the recent comings and goings, not looking much like the side from our most recent meeting.

Impossible to predict how it might go from our viewpoint as many in our lineup could be making their Town debuts. Anything other than a defeat would be very welcome.

There will only be 3 or 4 starting on Saturday that played in the play offs.

Might take us a while to gel, however, I do fancy us to win Saturday.

We need to get off the mark and I think we will.

Don’t know why really but despite the doom and gloom surrounding us at the minute I just fancy us to win this game.

We couldn’t fill the bench last week and Pearce came off injured and has tweeted that he’ll now be out for a couple of weeks so will be another week of a half filled subs bench.

We were desperately unlucky last week and probably should have put the game to bed before half time, but as was our problem last season - we struggle to play for 90 mins. If we can create similar chances but actually take a few I think we’ll win this game.

As for the needle, is there? I know emotions got the better of some in the second leg. Squaring off on the pitch and outside the ground etc but as I said I think that was just emotions rather than anything else.
