If you're a gambling man, you'll be better off putting your money on the nags than either of these 2 teams. Could go either way in my opinion, anything could happen.

3 time Cheltenham Gold Cup winning horse "Best Mate" died on the track at Exeter in the Haldon Gold Cup back in 2005. Lets just hope Exeters prize nag Troy Archibald-Henville doesn't require any "veterinary assistance" at Cheltenham.

Are you feeling ok old chap?

Anyway, this is a game I expect us to win. Ok so Cheltenham are probably a different proposition to last season and they have that Eisa chap up front who looks good, but if we're serious promotion contenders anything less than 3 points won't be good enough.

Wheeler is still a doubt but hope he can make the bench at least. I say go with an attacking lineup with Reid, McAlinden and Holmes.

4-1 Exeter. Reid x 2, McAlinden and Brown. 854 Grecians making the trip

Cheltenham were quite bad against us last week, imagine they'll be stronger at home but can't see past an Exeter win (13/8!).

I honestly don't know what to expect - play like we did Wednesday and the week before against Crawley and we should be ok. Play like we did against Carlisle and we'll be slaughtered

Oh for the days when playing Exeter was a guaranteed 3 points.

I think I'll be pretty disappointed with anything less than 3 points here. We've had a decent start and on paper this is our easiest game to date.

Have a feeling we will be held to a frustrating draw. 1-1, Jake Taylor with our goal.

should have been dead and buried after that start. JMT and reuben reid somehow pulled us back level.

Sounded like one heck of a game and a superb comeback after a horrendous start.

It's worrying that we let in 2 goals and should serve as a wake up call.

Reuben is on fire and is so important to us...Also to win that without Wheeler and Moxey is encouraging. Should make for a decent crowd in next week's top of the table clash v Newport!

I honestly don't know where to start.

We were fantastic for 30 mins, had Exeter properly on the ropes and could easily have been 3 up before their free-kick, which was fantastically taken. You could see the confidence physically drain out of the players at that point, and the fuck up for the equaliser was embarrassing.

I thought the start of the second half was quite even but Jordon Forster going off with what looks like an extremely serious achilles tendon injury hurt us and the absolute clusterfuck from Grimes for the penalty and red card (absolutely no complaints) killed us off.

Great to see Dan Holman break his goal drought, hopefully that will be the confidence booster he needs to get his season going.

Johnson has a massive 5 days ahead We currently have 6 CBs, 3 are now injured (Downes, Boyle and Forster), 1 will be suspended (Grimes) which leaves us with O'Shaughnessy and Matt Bower (a lad who's played 10 mins of League football). We also need a rb, a couple of wingers and possibly a better keeper (although I don't see that happening).

cant really add much to this... apart from we have a better keeper and he's sat on the bench. Clusterfuck is definitely the word to describe Grimes' utter moment of madness!

Played the best 20 minutes I've seen since we were promoted back to league 2... it was followed by an hour of silly mistakes and lack of confidence by the back four, who have no trust in Flatt in goal.

First 20 minutes it looked as though we were going to be well beaten. Both the Cheltenham goals were identical and moving Jake Taylor to the left to deal with Cheltenham's attacks was a good move from Tisdale. A lovely free kick from JMT got us back in the game and we were really fortunate to go into half time level.

Second half was an even game and both sides had opportunities to score before a moment of madness from the Cheltenham defender gifted us a penalty and a goal. Moments after and it was 4-2. We made it unnecessarily difficult for ourselves late on but thankfully we held out.

Thought McAlinden was our best player and his link up with Reid looks really promising and bodes well for the season. He deserved a goal. As for Cheltenham they'll be disappointed. They started really brightly and had a chance to make it 3-0 but after that they seemed to drop off.

10 points from 4 games is a really good start for us, onto Newport at home next week.
