The excitement for this one is palpable....Two struggling teams and almost a local derby by our standards so expect a decent away following.

I fancy we won't lose but not sure we will win so will plump for 1-1. Reid for us.

Exeter are decent away from home but, we all know, Cheltenham are luring us into a false sense of security before finishing top of the league. Sorry Grecians, easy 5-0 home win.

I heard a whisper that Gary Johnson's two games away from getting the sack. But it's just a rumour so don't read too much into it.

If he were Orient manager he'd only be one game away from the sack ;-)

Johnson is in the safest manager's seat in football. He might walk, but he will not be sacked. The club don't want to risk making the same mistakes of two years ago, and the biggest mistake was rushing into sacking Yates (who's time was up) because Paul Buckle (don't laugh) was available.

As for Saturday, our record before 14/15 against Exeter is immense. If we get back to that then we can't lose. The players need to start playing with last season's confidence. That's a lot easier said than done. With that being said, I think we'll win, 2-1.

No he's not, not while our joker is in his post, he's more secure than a box of Uhu

Yep, no one is more safe than Tis.

I'm probably attending on Saturday. Basically a local game so should be an okay turnout. I'll be really disappointed if we don't win this.

Just not good enough. As good as these players were last year, we really need to say thankyou and goodbye to a lot of them come January. Need at least one new CB, full-back, winger and striker.

Well done Exeter. You must want all your games to be played away! Was Reid playing and has he started to get into a groove or are you getting the petulant player we sometimes had?

Yep if we played away all season we'd piss this tinpot league.

Reid played 80 minutes yesterday but as far as I know he was isolated at times. He's been decent for us though and scored a few recently. We're definitely better with him in our side....

Good win for us though and sounded like we were better in the second half. Away from home, Wheeler and Holmes have been on fire recently. As for Cheltenham, it does seem like they need to do some strengthening come January.

Yeah Reid has done well for us. He probably hasn't scored as many as he would have liked but has definitely improved us. Of course he's a bit petulant and constantly moans but that's him, and he's unlikely to change. Can't say it bothers me in the slightest though.

Yesterday was a good day out, even with the constant rain. I thought we dealt with the conditions well and showed a decent fight which isn't normally associated with us. Watkins missed two very good chances with the first and last chances of the match but a lovely goal from Holmes and two tap ins from Wheeler secured the win. Cheltenham had some very good chances themselves, hitting the bar and post and having a couple cleared off the line but I thought we were probably worthy of our win, even if 1-3 did flatter us slightly.

The team that got us promoted were terrible in the league, the fact we managed to finish 11th without green was astonishing. But the season after it was clear they were only going to get us relegated, We had to change manager, and bring in a lot of league standard players to keep us up, the summer after almost all of them were released and now were a comfortable league side.

The players that made us just good enough to stay up were who we signed in january, Billy Kee, Matty Blair, Ricky Ravenhill, Junior Brown, Michael Raynes and Calum elder and we brought in a GK. They're all now doing well at other clubs bar ravenhill, and other players in that squad are also doing well like Tafazolli, Clements and Lambe.

Can you honestly see your manager attracting players of that standard to keep you up? added to that there were other teams somehow worse than us, currently i only see newport as a weaker side. Cheltenham are in serious trouble and should be worried.
