Can we get just our second away win since Exeter in September? Not holding my breath, but it'd be a big boost to get back into the auto places after fears we'd 'shot it' etc (although we also would with a point, if Mansfield didn't beat Lincoln).

Going for an optimistic 0-1, Stead.

I am back in the I have no idea camp again having thought we would do ok till the rest of the season and make promotion.
Could easily lose tonight 3-0 as much as come away with the same scoreline.
So 0-0 then.

Can't imagine there'll be many Notts there with just three days notice to try and get sorted for it.

If there's one thing that's let us down this season, it's not winning enough games like this away at mid-table and bottom half teams. We've got to change that - hard to see us getting promoted without winning at places like Cheltenham, Forest Green and Chesterfield in the next few weeks.

We're so hit and miss tonight really could go either way.

As we're not playing for anything either it's likely to be a sub-2,000 crowd as well. Alas midweek ganes are a no-go for me now as the wife started an evening job last week.

From the stats it’s seems Cheltenham are shading it but Notts lead 1-0.
I know I’m looking at a match cast but it doesn’t seem the most of exciting games.

Not at all good enough but we definitely escaped with a point there.

FGR on Saturday will be another tough away trip and then Mansfield, we needed the 3 points from tonight to take pressure of the Mansfield game.

Another completely nondescript performance and result away from home.

Frustrating as I thought we were basically in control for an hour or so but Cheltenham made some changes and in the end deserved a point. A bit unlucky with not getting a penalty early on and the goal taking a massive deflection, but what can you do.

The late Lincoln equaliser was a bonus, though, and we’ve still got to play Mansfield, Wycombe and Coventry at Meadow Lane where we’re a completely different proposition. We’ve got to beat them, because we’re just not picking up anything on the road.

Just fear that the two home games we lost when Nolan was dicking about with the formation, particularly the one against Exeter, are going to massively cost us.

Maybe just maybe the poor away form for most of the season will cost us a fair bit more than those two home games


As mentioned once again not good enough, need to be winning games like this and Barnet , Cambridge if you want automatic promotion this season
