Cheltenham v Rovers

Whaddon Road hasn't been a happy hunting ground for Rovers, don't think we've ever won there. Now would be a good time to start. Don't know much about their new boss, it seems quite a risk pinning your hopes of league survival on someone without management experience at this level. Don't seem to be (m)any Robins fans who've found there way over to 1FF to gauge the mood.

Elliot Richards will have an axe to grind, didn't get on with Micky Adams and would be nailed on to score against us. Hoping Odejayi can return the favour against an ex-club. Cheltenham have loaned in experience in the form of Mills, Sparrow and Harrad. Rovers have Jordan Hugill on loan from Preston, with a defender on the way too.

No idea how this will pan out. It falls into the mustn't lose category, so if Rovers don't manage at least a draw, expect large numbers of the SWA to be on suicide watch.

Big chance to go 6 points clear of the drop zone. Playing a team below us. Nailed on loss, probably with Richards scoring the winner.

Whoever loses this is deep in the sh*t, and a draw doesn't really suit anyone. Should be a good game or could be very tense and boring. I sort of think the rest of the relegation candidates will want Tranmere to win this, or at least not lose, because they look less likely to be in the bottom two come the end of the season. And if either of you are going to win please make it at least a 10-0 so that the other team loses all hope and drops like a bomb.

Ok, where to begin:
Positives: nice chippy
Negatives: the rest.
Took forever to get there and forever to get back, and I cannot believe that Adams opted for the same suicidal tactical approach as at York. Wasn't quite as bad a performance as York, but that isn't saying much! We just didn't seem up for it, and half the team (especially Power) seemed to have forgotten what colour our kit was. Second half was a marginal improvement, and we may have got a goal back on another day, but tbh we deserved fuck all. I've no idea what the subs were about, but didn't join in with "you don't know what you're doing." Ref was a complete joke also, but we wouldn't have got anything with Mike Dean in charge we were that bad. Still fuming.
