Doubt we'll change our starting XI that drew 3-3 at Plymouth even if Paul Hayes is fit again. Fairly even betwwen the sides in previous games with Wycombe winning 12 and Cheltenham 11 with their current form we should make it number 13 but our defence was poor on Boxing Day which was surprising after only letting in 1 goal in our previous 6 games.

it's the 18th derby, they are 18th in the home form table, we are 18th in the away table (I knew our away form was poor but I didn't realise it was that bad).

I expect we'll go for the win (and rightly so) but as long as we keep the unbeaten run going I'm happy.

If we don't lose I'll be happy. Our defence was shocking against Akinde and I expect Akinfenwa and Kashket to have a field day.

Being seen as a goodbye to our Championship winning team (anyone would think they were all dying the way some are going on) as it looks like a good few will be moving on, or at least dropping down the pecking order to the point they'll only get a game if we have an injury record of epic proportions.

Michael Harriman has been ruled out until February with an injury so the eccentric Sido Jombati willreplace him as right back against the club we signed him from.

He'll get a fantastic reception as well. Sido is a bit of a legend, which is something considering he was only with us for 3 seasons.

Absolutely gutted to come away from that game with a defeat, but we simply don't have the quality at the moment. The lads gave literally everything at the end and but for the ball falling to the one player who doesn't know how to score in injury time we would have got a deserved equaliser.

With that being said, Wycombe looked very good first half, and their goal was very well taken.

Ironically, despite keeping a clean sheet against us literally just over an hour ago, the local rag is suggesting that Scott Brown will be re-joining the club in the next couple of days. I'd be absolutely delighted if this is true.

Who's likely to be given the boot?

Johnson(s) and Cowley(s) are good mates, particularly Gary and Danny, so I wonder whether we'll pick up anything you want to get rid of. Purely speculation on my part, mind.

Dan Parslow and Jack Barthram are the most likely full-time players set to leave. Pars is not a Football League player, but was brilliant for us last season. Barts had a falling out with Johnson in August and doesn't appear to be able to curry favour anymore, I'll be gutted to see him go. Also wouldn't be surprised if Jack Munns or Amari Morgan-Smith left us. Again, both would be unfortunate.

Of the loanees, Easah Suliman and Jonny Smith have already gone back to Villa and Bristol City. Scott Brown coming in will see Russ Griffiths return to Everton. Danny Whitehead and Koby Arthur are also expected to go back to Wigan and Birmingham respectively.

Didn't expect anything from tonight but I'm actually gutted we didn't get at least a point which we would've deserved. First half was a bit of a non-event with Kashket taking the only real half chance (and a great finish it was). Second half they just tried to protect their lead and with a bit of luck we'd have scored one or two. Got to say as much as I love Jack Barthram, his miss at the end was probably the worst I've ever seen.

Not sure there's anything in there that we're likely to be interested in, then.

We'll take Holman...

Astonishingly, he could probably do a month in the Conference to get his sharpness back. He's been out injured so much this season that it's lacking. Shame the emergency loan system isn't in effect anymore.

Sido has been good for us but struggles to get in the side, more through the form of Michael Harriman than anything else, but he'll get his chance now Harriman's out for a bit.

Mixed views on letting Scott Brown go if this is true - that must mean we'd be getting to keep Blackman on loan which is positive, but I still think it's silly not having a #2 keeper beyond your 40-something goalie coach.

Nosebleed heights of 5th for us, even having played a game more than most. This run can't keep up but I guess I'll just enjoy the ride for now.

Browns on a 2 year contract mate and if Blackman goes back to Chelsea next week he'll be our number one,if it wasn't for an injury that kept him out for 2 months we wouldn't have brought in another keeper.

Only going by what the local paper are reporting, and they're not usually wrong.

Apparently you'll be keeping Blackman on, and Johnson and Ainsworth were meant to be concluding a deal after last night's game - http://www.gloucestershirelive.co.u...against-them/story-30020940-detail/story.html
Don't get me wrong i would love to keep Blackman until the end of the season only then will Brown go out on loan for game time,Wycombe as usual are telling us fans nothing about extending players loans until May so we don't know what's going on.

With Kashket scoring again last night that's 13 goals in 14 games 6 of which he was only a sub, thank god we recently extended his contract to 2019. :bravo:
