For once, a decent transfer window for us. Brought in some new players, even paid a fee for one, and managed to keep hold of Clarke. I still think we are a little light up top and the greedy side of me would like a LB and another CM, however it wasn't to be.

As for the game itself, well what an important one it is. I can't even pretend and say I'd be happy with a point with it being away from home, as we simply need wins at the moment.

2-0-2 under Shez so far, with the form bizarrely being opposite to Robbo in that we've both our home games and lost our away games.

This is how I see us lining up, which is much better (on paper) than it was a few weeks ago.

I'm going to for Chesterfield 1-2 Latics, with 650 making the trip.

I'm not even going to pretend what our best team is at the minute as we have brought in that many last month it's anyone's guess.

Definitely a six pointer and the curse of the returning manager will hopefully strike. We are looking much better on the field. We actually have a plan which involves attack so I back us in every game now. Time will tell if our quality can match our approach

Looked a very tidy player.

We had a young lad on loan from Burton last season when we were in a similar predicament - Matty Palmer - and he was class for us. A big reason why we managed to stay up. After O'Neill's showing at the weekend, I'm hoping for a similar outcome this season.

Cheers for that. We have high hopes for him. He certainly gets stuck in and gives 100%. I have been impressed with him from the little game time he has had with the first team. Hope he does well for you.
