Cobblers v Oxford this weekend. Another tough game although Sercombe being banned and Roofe possibly injured it has been made slightly easier.

Also, there's a protest planned about what's going on at Sixfields. Our chairman is coming under increasingly heavy fire in recent days and weeks. The social media #WeWantAnswers is gathering pace, media outlets around the county picking up on it. And supposedly 3000 claret and white questions marks are being printed, for fans to hold up, signifying how we've been kept in the dark for so long. Doubt he will be there, rumours Cardozy is in Canada. The whole situation has been a farce and I fully support the protest. If any Oxford fans wanna pick up a question mark and join in that would be appreciated.

Public opinion is changing Cardoza. Time to front up.

Noticed your attendance was just over 4000, pretty low compared to the usual.

They are real, we're all just hoping the deal isn't collapsing.

Sestonpoolie Yeah it was quite low, be more this week but only because Oxford have sold out.

Club and council statements tonight. Local media actually asking questions. 24 hours of a social media campaign has got some traction.

Protest goes ahead.

We have been boosted by the signings of Shaun Brisley (centre back) and Darnel Furlong (right back). Assuming Cresswell has not picked up an injury it will make us far more solid as it means Rodney McDonald will not be playing. We have also struggled at right back - Moloney remains injured and his back up Lelan has showed promise and naivety in the same breath.

Hope that Furlong is first and foremost a defender.

Funny that cardoza only gives these more open interviews now a protest is going ahead. Understandable aswell. 12 m loan and in 2 years all we have to show for it is one LESS stand.

Fortunate for us Kemar roofe is out. One of the best players in the league, think an entertaining draw will be played out.

Battling game by us. Once we were down to ten men it was backs to the wall for us and like many I did not see what Taylor did. Very unusual situation as the ball had long gone when it happened so everyone was perplexed when a penalty and red came. Very annoyed as Taylor is a beast in midfield and is now looking at a 4 game ban. Without him our midfield lacks a backbone.

Adam Smith was superb. It is clear had it not been for his summer indiscretion he would not be with us. The main aim which worked was to raise awareness of the off the field events at Sixfields.

Adam Smith is the best keeper in League 2. Period. Any fans of the teams we've played so far will have seen that. Genuinely reckon with a bit of proper planning we can sell him for a gigantic fee down the line. Slap a bigger contract in front of the boy sharpish.

Great battling performance from the lads. Apparently Taylor threw his hands into O'dowdas face. As mentioned above huge loss for us as he is the midfield enforcer we need. Oxford have some good players in possession, but for all that possession they didn't really create much at all. As mentioned above I 100% believe Adam Smith is the best at this level and think he will go on to far bigger things, thank goodness for smart phones!!

Hopefully we can kick on now, impressed with new loanees Brisley and Furlong also.

Also how bad was the referee? Mr Neil Swarbrick who has been in charge of 3 premier league games this season didn't have control of it at all. Found particularly hilarious when your big CB made a good sliding challenge and getting booked first half. I laughed a lot at that.

Thought Slocombe looked really shaky aswell!

He cannot be that bad surely in Prem. Maybe he was a bit annoyed at doing a L2 game he decided to muck about!

Why did Wright have to get involved when Taylor was sent off? What a bell end

We missed the players out injured and suspended yesterday, particularly Roofe. The game was made for him.

Having said that, we knew what to expect once Northampton went in front and had plenty of time to get it back, but never really got into top gear. A bad day at the office for us, very frustrating, as we have beaten better teams.

Two observations about Northampton. Cresswell is still a very good Division Four centre half, just what we could do with. Smith may be a good goalkeeper (we never really tested him, so hard to say) but he is a cock of the highest order. I think he'll get plenty of stick at our place.
