Dragging my sorry arse up for this one and expecting the unwashed to hand it to me on a plate, without the Pope we dont have a prayer.

If you rely on Pope that much, you'd better buy a whole prayer book.

Focal point and when our injury ravaged bunch of reprobates need respite we lob it in his direction. When we have a midfield that is fit and Tinkerbell has them in their correct positions we are a silky smooth attacking dream.
The great unwashed have us under a hoodoo at Grotland and i doubt it's ending this weekend.

Not too fussed about the result. Both teams have already shown they can put a good performance on but I admire fans who stick to their small club when so many big boys are in close proximity. Us small club supporters are to me the real supporters; we have more downs than ups but when we have an up, boy do we enjoy it more. Best wishes for the season(except on a couple of occasions though)

The form guide has turned just in time for this match and I fully expect another miserable performance from us. We need to stop the defeats one way or another before the big game v Bolton next week. I'd take a scrappy 1-1 now.

Probably a Dale 2-0 win tho.

I've got a bad feeling about this one. Despite our recent discovery of how to win again Bury are surely due a league win at Dale after what must be 9/10 years.

Getting bored of playing Rochdale, and even worse always playing dire against them. Think everyone knows the outcome of Saturday's game, a defeat, by how many goals I don't know.

The Dale game was only a good fixture when we were in L2, and were the only teams to fill each other's away ends, in L1 and with Bolton to look forward to the fixture has really died off. The all ticket thing doesn't help either cause it just makes it a ballache and not worth the effort to see us lose.

Some guy on Facebook reckons we've sold 400 odd tickets which would be hillariously low. Part of me hopes they keep it all ticket, so that the total attendance of 2,300 shows GMP up for the farce they are.

So no willy waving about attendances if it's a poor show from your lot then?

My prediction is that Rochdale will be much the better team and deserve a win.

Why would Bury fans willy wave about attendances? Slightly hypocritical don't you think?

You're always obsessing over how bad our crowds are. Ironic really and your reply says it all.

9 years old boy, last manager to win a league game at Spotland was Casper in 2007.

Since then we have drawn 1-1, lost 3-0 x3 and lost 1-0 whilst playing against ten men for an hour. Don't think we even managed a shot on goal.

Usually all things Rochdale you used to comment on, like some sort of obsession, especially our crowds. Must admit you've been awfully quiet this season actually. Says it all when your own fans dread reading your drivel.

I think you've been seeing things, I have no issue with Rochdale. Have Dale mates infact.

Took me less than a minute to find just two obsessive Rochdale posts on your profile.

Hardly obsessive is it? Just reading a few comments on a message board.

We are Rochdale's biggest game of the season, Rochdale are not Bury's biggest game of the season. Let's leave it at that, and enjoy your win.

How many times have Bury played Bolton in a league fixture in your lifetime? Unfortunately your club have had to put up with lower league derbies for yonks. Like I sat you've probably never seen a Bury v Bolton league fixture.

I knew you probably had done I was asking UTS, because a fan of his age has only really seen derbies with us. So when he claims it's our biggest match of the season it's clearly his too.

It really isn't. Can't wait for Bolton home and away, Rochdale games seem like a chore more than anything. Even Oldham away is more enticing.
