Going for a double and with the form we are in pretty confident. Success breeds success and players are stepping up to the mark who earlier in the season were struggling somewhat. Devante Cole could'nt hit the proverbial barn door and is now hitting the net fairly regular, goals are coming from all over the team and when that happens you know you have something special developing
Take nothing away from Southend who are doing well but I think we are good for a 3-1 win

I'm going to this first time at Fleetwood another to tick off no offence not the most appetising fixture and miles away but it's a big game!
This is the third game in a row we've played a side in top 2 of the form guide - 2 firsts and 1 second. Won 1 lost 1 both sides got spanked and conceded 4 in their next game.. even if you beat us it's the next game you got to worry about.
In the home leg of this fixture we were utterly dreadful the worst performance of the season for me, it will be a very different game this time if we weren't so bad at the start of the season we'd be mixing it up the top. I think we will take the lead but I don't know if we will hold on to it we always seem to perform better first half. 1-1

Southend well worth a point and the draw was a fair result for both teams. Think Fleetwood were still basking in the glory of last Tuesday's game and Shrimpers took the game to us from kick off. Fortune was a real handful till he was subbed-glad to see the back off him. Good chance for both teams to make the play offs but plenty of twists and turns to come

Southend one of better teams weve faced this season, physically strong and imposing unit.

We hung in there despite being dominated for large periods and from our point of view at least protected that gap between us.

Fleetwood part way through a tough run of games in which we hope to at least retain 4th spot, which is potentially the best chasing pack can achieve with the top 3 looking away from everyone.

There was no coach to pick them up upon arrival apparently.

Blackpool 10 and Poulton-Le-Fylde 6 miles are closest train stations to Fleetwood, we dont have one. Trams are the closest to a train you can pick up in Blackpool to Fleetwood.

Surely Southend knew that and Preston is third furthest away about 40 minutes run in a car. Sounds like a cock up.

A coach was meant to pick them up from Preston which didn't turn up. There were no trains from Preston to Blackpool, only a replacement bus.
