A rare opportunity to secure a double and in the process achieve a first ever home victory over Chesterfield. The visitors are having a shite time at the moment with awful league form and their Chairman leaving the club out of the blue. Add to that Fleetwood have only scored one goal in the last 5 meetings between the teams and this suggests anything can happen, particularly as both teams are are very capable at conceding goals in the last 10 minutes or so of a game !
Our home form is pretty good, sooner or later Devante will score a hatful of goals so we are in for a bumper game 4-3 to the Cods and yours truly is stone cold sober !

Decided to make the effort for this one now. CLub need all the support they can get on and off the pitch. Will enjoy a few beers in Blackpool and watching my team as at the rate we are going they might not be around much longer.

2-0 Fleetwood - 350 or so probably very concerned and angry fans in the away end.

Fleetwood should have had the game sown up by half time, squandering chances an all to familiar story. Fair play to Spireites they made a spirited recovery in 2nd half and relief when the final whistle went.
A good solid team performance and chance to register 3 successive home wins next week
