I know it sounds weird to say that a team 'has already won' before a ball has been kicked - but in the case of Accrington Stanley before this weekends play offs i can't help but feel that that is true.

Having the smallest budget in the league, yet having one of the most consistent and entertaining teams is no mean feat. In fact it is a miracle!

I was gutted when they missed out on Saturday - but can a team ever really lose in the play offs when they were favourites for relegation and outperformed many with far greater resources!

Exactly. I would think you lot, Newport, Morecambe and possibly York all had smaller budgets this year.

But, atm, it's kinda romantic - and also trendy - saying it's Stanley who have the smallest budget.

Always liked AFC due to the history and mutual dislike of MK so won't be unhappy if they make it, even though I have recently detected an element of smugness on here from some. I would like to see Stanley go up however as they deserve it on the season, but thats not what the Play Offs are about.

I don't want to ruin a thread, but hopefully he will be less rude in the future after reading this.

That response, plus the Podcasts one... shows me that he just enjoys the one or two likes he gets from other people who enjoy putting people down.

Yes this forum isn't a forum to sell stuff, but if someones taken the time to write a book ~ what kind of person just says bore off?
