This heralds for us a run of games that could be either the dawning of the Age of Aquarius or a slow descent into Hell.
After a low-key start last week, we're hoping that Cook's chosen one - Eoin Doyle - can start to show what he's made of. Won't be easy. Accrington are way better than their league position would indicate, but like Pompey they've seemingly suffered from a failure to turn pressure into goals this season.
The defence generally picks itself so the only question marks are in midfield/attack. Linganzi may well keep Rose out of the team again. Which three he plays behind Doyle is anyone's guess. Perm any three from Roberts, Naismith, Baker, Bennett, Lowe and Chaplin. I'd like to see Baker/Chaplin/Lowe myself.
