Can we start this thread? Is that allowed? Seems we've got a few tellings off for starting match threads which don't get many replies. Should be safe this one given the decent number of Imps on this forum.

Big game for us, the cup win on Saturday was nice but we're in dreadful form, lost 12 of our last 16 games in all competitions. Desperately need a result here otherwise we'll get sucked even further towards the bottom 2.

Lincoln have done well so far this season, in a nice position, picking up results. Don't score many like us, but got a great defence. Be bringing many across Imps?

Head says 1-0 to Lincoln, heart says 1-0. Would settle for a draw, haven't had one of those since August. Got to get something.

We've sold around 750 tickets.
It appears everyone is fit with the exception of Jordan Maguire Drew trained today so we'll have a massive 19 players to choose from.
Anderson is the one to watch, very important player for us.
Just hoping our misfiring forwards finally remember where the goal is!

A few have commented that the first half was probably our worst under Cowley.

Good to get it right second half, though. No surprise we looked better than recent weeks with Anderson back in the side because he offers an directness and unpredictability that our other wingers don't - and he scores goals.

Pleased for Whitehouse as well. Had to wait a long time for his chance and although he's not as good as Billy Knott from a technical point of view, he's a different type of number 10 and probably suits us more at this moment in time. He's more of a grafter and gets stuck in whilst running beyond the striker whereas Knott prefers to sit further back.

Most we've scored in a half away from home in a very long time, rumour has it at Chesterfield in 1992 in the football league and away at Dartford in the NL either 2012 or 2013.
Quite the turnaround as I didn't see that coming at half time as we sounded truly awful.
Anderson as Luke says just gives us something very different and that's first time we've scored on a Saturday since he last played.
Delighted to hear Whitehouse getting the 4th as the guy has been so unlucky to be on the bench.
Another decent turnout of Imps, just under 1000.

Embarrassing, the club is non-league bound, it really is. As soon as any team turns up the pressure, we just crumble. The club is rotten to the core and Timey is right, the only thing that would force these idiots to change is relegation.
