Weve won 4 in a row, 3 in the league, and probably coming of the back of our best performance of the season at Grimsby.

Probably our best player this season Kiwomya is out injured for abit now. Be interesting to see who comes n for him, should be a straight shoot out between Kirk and Ainley.

A couple of ex Crewe players in the the squad in Colin Daniel and Kelvin Mellor, are they likely to play at all?
We can't keep winning surely.

Crewe 1-1 Blackpool (Dagnall, Daniel) 4,022 (622 Seasiders)

Got to be due a hugely disappointing set back at some point right?

That being said, this game will have a hard time living up to the utter farce that was this fixture last season. Jack Redshaw scores on 34 minutes, gets booked for celebrating. 2 minutes later, he gets sent off. Takes us just under 50 minutes to finally score on a terrible team with 10 men. We then concede almost from the kick off through the most ridiculous goal, just horrific defending. But wait, there's more. We get a penalty in injury time, but Brad Inman skies it.

That 90 minutes was the perfect encapsulation of just how much of a car crash we were last season. Lets hope for a more organised effort this time around. I'd take a point.

The Alex 2 Blackpool 1 4,309 (not sure on the away following as I'm sure a percentage aren't bothering 'cos of the Oyston situation)

Well, sounds like we were utter shit today, but still got a point. Happy enough with that, playing shit and drawing beats playing shit and losing. Plus we always struggle against Blackpool.

We were poor for a lot of the game yesterday, but always in the game and chances not sure the goal at the end of the 1st half was offside, I would like to see that again, but we cleared to off the line 1st half and were abit lucky to be only 1 down 1st half. We really struggled the physical presence of Blackpool especially the big lads upfront who were useless in a football sence but big and strong and like many of the Blackpool team bullied us. 2nd half again we started on the back front until SD brought Ainley and Bingham on, they seemed to change the game. Ainley replaced Kirk who really struggled all game but Ainley seemed abit confident and willing to take his man on, and Bingham more willing to play a forward pass. The last 25 mins was a good watch we pushed hard and played some decent football. Cooper was the stand out man all game for me and his great cross was headed in by Lowe. He then nearly got a winner curling one against the post. Overall a draw probably fair, Blackpool will climb the league abit I think, they will give a lot of teams problems with the strength up top of the big lads Matt and however you spell the other lads name, and mobility of Vassell.

It was my 1st game of the season and despite being fairly poor for 3/4 of the game it was light years better than last season, always thought we carried a threat and we finished the game really strong playing some decent football, couldn't knock out work rate either. Blackpool seemed really awkward to play against tbf, and are little better than advertised I think.
