1 fit striker
0 fit right backs
0 decent midfielders available
2 players suspended for beating up a kid
1 player banned from driving who commutes from Manchester
1 of the highest budgets in the league and we cannot even beat Orient

Yeah what crisis...

2-2 draw

Whereas I wouldn’t say were in crisis we can’t be far from it - we’ve quite clearly not had a good start - morecambe and orient are on paper 6 points, 4 at a minimum - conceding 5 goals and gaining 1 point is pretty dire. I fear the atmosphere will turn already with some tomorrow if we don’t win. It’s never boring being a mansfield fan!

We’ve had slow starts before and prospered and Tuesday night might hold him in good stead on his managerial learning curve - one that he needs to learn fast.

However the points raised by “anotherstagfan” are correct - we’ve 1 forward - typical Mansfield luck Maynard and cook would get injured so early in their time here - the midfield is doing a Madeline McCann impression, 2 are suspended and we’ve a fat loafer in goal who needs to get in slim fast.

Stevenage must therefore fancy their chances

Stevenage haven’t scored yet, if that doesn’t change tomorrow I’ll be very surprised.

I fancy Danny Rose to get his sixth goal on the season too.

Both teams to score at approaching evens

Stevenage are incredibly awful/missing about 13 injured players. Pretty sure Rose will be able to dive and win you a penalty against their teenage defence. 1-0.

He’s not got us a penalty via diving yet, here’s hoping though, one thing we have in common with Stevenage is a injury/suspension crisis.

Both were fair penalties, not sure what your spouting at, not sure why you’d go to such length to make yourself look daft when you had a remarkable comeback.

Well done on the victory and all that but I certainly don't think these were dives. I do think he does fall to the ground too easily, however decisions tend to go against him because of this.

Threeeee little fishalish wriggling in a net
Just one worm and they all swam up and et
Winding up the Mansfield is as easy as it gets
Unless you’re goin’ fishin’ for those chappies from Bar-net

Especially considering how all replies were genuine, not like a typical bite, shut up Leyton Orient are wank etc.

Win some you lose some.

Our bench is basically youth team, and young lad Clarke has got a start.

White, Gordon, Bishop, Pearce, Maynard, Cook all out.

Lord almighty that was wank - anyone who watched that coming away with a positive is deluded, can’t explain just how bad it was

He’ll be gone by Christmas at this rate

Managed to watch this today, how we got a point from that I have no idea, Mansfield were wasteful and Farman/the defence but their bodies on the line to keep it at 0-0.

We performed exactly as I expected, we'd play for a draw and hope to nick something if the opportunity arose.

We're crippled by injuries currently, 13/14 players unavailable today, losing another in the pre-match warm up. Soares having to play centre half, did well all things considered.

Still offering next to nothing going forward, still no goals scored. Pleased with a point, got to hope peformances and results improve as and when we get some bodies back.

Was a bit below average definitely, we had three to four golden opportunity’s to win it.

If we actually had more than one striker fit I reckon that would be three points.

We could have easily have won, I wonder if it would have papered over the glaring cracks though.

Clean sheet I suppose, though in fairness against that side me and a few mates would have done that.

Stevenage were utterly toothless, more so than Carlisle.

1 point from Orient and Stevenage at home is diabolical, our injury list is as well tbf.

We are utter shite. Got to question why we have so many injuries already. Hardly like its come in the middle of the busy christmas schedule is it?

On all accounts the pre-season was a shambles

Another day that’s a 3-0 victory, too many of our fans are a bunch of crybabies.

When you’ve not won any of morecambe twice, Leyton orient (who hadn’t won) and stevenage at home (hadn’t scored and we’re bottom of the league) at home I think there’s a more than fair reason to be a little disgruntled.

It’s not like we actually looked like winning any of them over the course of 90 minutes today either - they were wasteful and lethargic today.

I hope this is just a slow start but given the total disorganisation of the tactics today and the frankly laughable decision to take khan off (who was being played in the wrong position) instead of the totally wasteful macdonald was a surprise and confusing to us all.

Was disappointing that mellis again offered little apart from one great pass in the 2nd half after being conveniently “let off” with a 2 week ban when we were short in that position - whereas we don’t know all the details it tends to suggest rightfully or wrongly that donoghue has been thrown under the bus.

Far from happy

One thing we can all agree with is: Mansfield Town will be playing in League 2 next season.
