Am I surprised by this result? The answer is no.

'Bland'chester United have proven once again that not only their football lacks excitement, but they're nothing more than a glorified mid-table team. You see, while other teams inspire for excitement and attractive football, 'Boring the land'chester United cling desperately for draws. I'm sure they'd finish the season on 38 0-0 draws if it had a benefit for them.

My question to United 'fans' is this. Have you accepted that despite spending hundreds of millions of pounds the team you 'support' still doesn't know where the back of the net is?

It's a bigger problem than just Rooney. Mata for starters, he either scores or he doesn't. On the wing he can't go outside or protect the fullback; in the middle he gets crowded and muscled out. Prone to moments of class but we're carrying him for the rest of the time, not good enough.
