CTFC vs Cambridge

A win is a must if we are going to go into derby clash with fFGR with any confidence, I'm hoping the hang over for Cambridge's tanning by Luton is still fresh and we go at them right from the off . if we start in the usual mundane and pedestrian way (when at home) then its a chance lost.

That was shite.

Cambridge were shite, we were shite, the weather was shite. It was just shite.

When you think 0-0 you think it must have been bloody awful. In tonight's case, you would be right.

It sounded terrible.

We've now gone five away games without scoring, our last away goal was on 23rd September. We've not scored in any of our last four league games and once in six (against Sutton United) if you extend it to cup games. I don't think I can recall us being so shite in front of goal.

Poor game overall but I won't say it was one of the worst matches I've ever seen, in fact it was slightly bordering on the entertaining side at times - for a goal less draw that is - esp. after the break. I felt that one of the sides was going to make a cock up that would lead to a goal, and that's more than I can say for some other games I've watched, like the ones without a single decent effort on target from either side.

No more Derryball please.
