Surprised no thread has been made yet considering it's one of the biggest games of the day...

We're in good form going into this and a very positive vibe fills the club at the moment. On the back of a performance last week at Hartlepool where not many would disagree that we should have got all 3 points. We have 11 points from the last 15 with a win in the mickey mouse tournament to go with that as well.

Cheltenham appear to be the draw specialists with 4 draws in their last 6, but with only 1 win all season and the way we're playing i'd like to think we could take all 3 points here.

However, without looking at past meetings I don't think we have a great record at Whaddon Road. I know that our 34 unbeaten league run came to an end at Cheltenham back in 2011 after Evans labelled our performance as lazy and disgraceful.

Anyway, I'll go with an optimistic 1-2 win with us scraping 100 away fans on the day

We were fantastic that day, one of the best performances I've seen from a Cheltenham team.

As for Saturday, I'm very meh about it. I honestly don't know what to expect. Our defence seems to be sorted, but we're still struggling up top. The suspensions of Pell and O'Shaughnessy will be massive as well. We really need to start winning, but a performance in the mould of the Luton game will suit me.

good but it's no CUFC vs CUFC

You think Crawley are going to maintain their current form?
The thread title is as exciting as this match gets for the neutral.

As a biased fan I can't see any reason why not, we are just trying to go under the radar and do our stuff whilst the big boys don't notice.
The season objective at the start was to avoid relegation, however, its the first time in a VERY long time that we've had competion for places and some of our 'best' players are out injured and we know we have them to come back.

We have genuine quality for this level all over the pitch and the only position which could be strengthened is RB (which drummy actually highlighted in his press conference today). The style of football is the main difference and I can't remember any 'hit and hope hoof ball' so far, the players struggled with drummys philosophy to begin with which left us very open (aka Portsmouth) but they have now adapted and it appears to be working.

The general apathy which was associated with the club over the past few seasons is now disappearing which is the most important thing as we need the town to support the club.

Anyway, when we get hit by injuries or the players forget how to play football I'm sure we'll be back down where the bookies had us!

Can anyone remember the name of that deluded Cheltenham fan who said he fancied them to win the league this season?

What?.........what was his name?........He has been very quiet recently.

Sounds like it's been poor from us so far, poor to concede so early on.

By all accounts we were lucky not to concede four or five. Two off the inside of the post and a stonewall penalty not given.

Well done the Robins but I think it's a case of brush ourselves down and move on.
