Hate these games.
Rather we never played them.
I'd take a draw now.

Old Kezza Burns is at it again in his latest article of drivel for the Notts Post, a quick summary that I've nicked off of dcfcfans;

  • Forest have won 3 on the bounce so they go to Derby confident that they can get a result.
  • Derby have won 5 on the bounce but it doesn't matter because form goes out the window for these games.

  • Derby aren't great at the back (despite only Brighton bettering our defensive record)
  • 'And I don't think they are as good as they have been up front' -
    default_ermm.png

  • Derby's midfield is good but Forest have Lansbury who has 'been there and done it all'

  • 'I like Worrall. He just heads it and kicks it.' - We've got a lot of those players Kenny! The ones who head a kick the ball, top skill to have.
:lol::lol::lol:
I'm sure I started last years thread with a quote from him too, how is he in a job with articles like this?!

Doesn't feel right missing this game but circumstances are what they are, I'll be tuning into Sky Sports with a champion hang over on Sunday morning instead. #RamsAbroad

6 in 6? Not too confident as we seem to end each others runs all the time. I'll go for a feisty 1-1, Bradley Johnson to get sent off.

The mighty Rams!!!
Mods - I started a thread at the same time so can you delete mine?

Ironically Luke I said exactly the same thing. He mentions they can score our free scoring team and score past us when in fact, stats show the complete opposite - can defend well but don't score many.

Both hate and love these games but forest seemingly still struggling to sell tickets, maybe we've played them too many times lately.

I think these games are always decent. Not so much for the quality of football in recent years, but just to have a game that feels different to the other 44 in the season. A win means more than it usually does.

I know the form book says we're both going in on back of a magnitude of wins a piece, but it doesn't seem like either of us have been too convincing. I haven't seen much in recent weeks, but it doesn't sound like we were fully at our best against Wigan and I have no doubts that had Newcastle had 10 men on the pitch, nevermind 11, then they may well have come away with a result.

It seems like we've become very disciplined and strong off-the-ball. We've kept five clean sheets in our last five home games, we've conceded just the four since October 1st. I don't see us capitulating here, whereas I think Forest could easily go one way or another. I do think it's going to either be a hard fought draw or a fairly convincing Derby win. I also think Forest's discipline will let them down - I wouldn't be surprised to see a red card for them.

Anything could happen. Worry is that Derby have started scoring a few whilst we ship a goal a game at least. They could just as easily shut us out. Saying that, we score so many goals, so I'm confident that we can get a result even if we are rubbish.

Discipline is a weird one. We've had 5 reds, 4 were for second yellows and Pereira is responsible for 3 of them. Would love him to start as the guy is blockbuster, but he is an emotional chap who could do anything. Would love to see him given a free attacking role, he is like Antonio in that he can score from nothing. Not sure many defences would handle him.

We're gonna get spanked. Forest score plenty of goals, and we've now got the manager of the month curse.

Even though our defensive record is spot on, Chris Baird and Marcus Olsson as our fullbacks do not fill me with confidence for any game, never mind this one.

Here's to the next two hours screaming at the tele box.

Come on You Rams!

At it again. Cheating bastard.

HT: 1-0. We haven't turned up, Forest and especially Bendtner have. Got to kick on if we want these three points.

are any of this Forest side meant to be good? I've watched them 3 or 4 times this season and can't tell you a player that's played well.

Pretty straight forward so far without getting out of second gear. Forest did ok first half but they've been rancid in the second.

That'll do, couple of bit's of quality in the second half won it for us in the end. From 21st to 5th, never expected this sort of revival under Macca but I'm lapping it up.

Big fan of the deal we've got going with Bendtner, Forest pay him obscene wages to play for us. Lovely job.

First half thought we were better and Bent should have been sent off.

Second half men v boys

Won't make or break the season but that was woeful second half.
