As in allowing key members of your squad to enter their final year so other clubs can tap them up and attempt to get them for a knock down price.

How vulnerable is your team next season?

We're ok for next season but we'll have to do some negotiating beyond that. The money raised from the sale of Joe Garner was used to offer new contracts to key players and its now looking like a really sensible move.

Chris Maxwell - 2019
Marnick Vermijl - 2019
Tom Clarke - 2019
Andy Boyle - 2019
Greg Cunningham - 2019
Daniel Johnson - 2019
Alan Browne - 2019
Ben Pearson - 2020
Daryl Horgan - 2019
Callum Robinson - 2019
Jordan Hugill - 2019

That could well be our first eleven next season and we've got them tied down for the next two seasons. Hope we continue to be pro-active on that front.

We've been hit a lot of late by contracts running out - it's tough when players want high-Championship level wages which we can't afford. Button, Bidwell, Dallas, etc, all went for a lot less than they should have because they had 12 months or less left on their deals.

At the moment, we've got Judge out of contract in the summer, which is a huge blow (should have got £6m+ for him), but that is largely it where our first team is concerned.

We have a bigger problem next year, with both Hogan, Jota, Bjelland, Macleod out of contract in 2018, along with a couple of other first team players. I hope we'll be able to tie them down, but I could see us revamping the squad a lot in the summer.

As a club, we know it's a situation you don't want to happen, but we can't afford to pay the wages players demand, especially those who came up from League 1, so it's meant a lot of turnover, and reduced fees for selling players.

For our players that feature off the top of my head:

Aden Flint - (2020)
Bailey Wright - (2019 optional extra year)
Hordur Magnusson (2019)
Korey Smith - (2019)
Jens Hegeler - (2019)
Gary O'Neil - (2018)
Josh Brownhill - (2019)
Marlon Pack - (2018)
Bobby Reid - (2018)
Callum O'Dowda - (2019)
Jamie Paterson - (2019)
Lee Tomlin - (2019 optiontional extra year)

Players that are out of contract (I think) are Luke Freeman who would be a loss, Mark Little who shouldn't be kept on and 37 year old Aaron Wilbraham who'll probably sign a year extension.

Other players like Golbourne, Bryan, Fielding etc I've no idea and don't really care if they go or not.

Got loans in Giefer, Matthews, Abraham etc will go back at the end of the season and we'll see what happens with them.

It's one thing we've been really good at over the past few season since Chansiri took over, we've given all our main players long contracts and get them tied down and i would imagine we've significantly increased our wage bill in the process. Can't see us losing anyone on the cheap anytime soon.

Wells is out of contract at the end of next season. Not sure how that one will go, I think mid-table Championship is his level.

Our biggest concern is probably the fact that 5 of our key players are on loan :err: and I think only Kachunga will stay permenantly. Really is crucial that we make the most of our chance this season.

We've signed up most of our out of contracts this January, Al-Habsi for 2.5 years, with McCleary and Kelly getting 3.5s.

The only first team players we have out of contract this Summer now are Danny Williams (wages probably too high) and Yann Kermorgant (35 years old so no rush, would like to give him another season).

As most of our team are fairly new signings we have very few out of contract at the end of next season (just McShane, Obita and Gunter). We've just had our squad shredding faze.

Also have no loanees, so provided we can keep hold of our players, they should be able to settle into a nice consistent team.

All our realistic saleable assets bar Grigg are tied up until 2019 so no problems our end. Grigg will be sold in the summer if he isn't sold in this window. To be honest if we get our money back I'll be happy, he's been a good servant and got us out of League One so he's been worth the money we paid.

We've got a lot of loanees, a couple of them are out of contract in the summer with their parent clubs. I can see us signing up Haugaard on a permanent if he keeps us his current form.
