Hardly a shred of knowledge or analysis about League Two from this ITV team. McAnuff is probably the only one with any having played/managed down here for a bit. Our game against Bradford had an exciting finish but we were last one to be shown behind a couple of 0-0s?

"What about [insert team name here], good result for them?"

"Yeah good win for [insert team name here], and a good strike for the goal by [insert striker name]."

Rinse and repeat.

Is there a point to these shows? Don't we all have our clubs posting extended highlights and such on Youtube? I always wait for ours on there.

Needs more than one pundit, a few of the midweek Quest shows only had one pundit and as BarraMatt says, its same quotes rinsed and repeated over and over again - Which for Leagues One and Two can be quite boring because no one has enough knowledge on them (for whatever reason).

Which was why it was good have those two lads from that podcast come on, they did their research and were genuinely interested in Leagues One and Two - One was an Oxford fan and he knew his stuff.

We'll be lucky to get anyone as good as Colin Murray ever again, good presenter, clearly enjoyed being there, clearly took an interest in all 3 leagues and always did his research and always had a good rapport with the guests.

Jules Breach and the other bloke last week can clearly present, but are they really interested in Barrow v Orient on a Tuesday night? Do they have the all round knowledge on clubs current ownership statuses in League Two? Do they know all about the League One/Two players or even care? This is why Colin Murray is missed - because he always came across as though he did.

Have they got Sam Parkin on this? Probably the best L1/L2 pundit around imo.

Absolute tripe.

Bring back the good old days on Sky were they'd just have 30 minutes of pure goals from Championship down with some techno/house music playing throughout, must've been late 90's early 00's, no patter, no shite, just goals, can't remember what it was called or if it was even real.

Definitely need 2 pundits as after a while the usual cliches come out from just one who is probably going to get a little tired after a while !

Think the 2 guys from the Not the top 20 podcast are still due to be on.

Colin Murray was excellent as you say - did his research and cared about each team .

These 2 have other roles generally talking about the Premier league so this might be like a 2nd job to them ?

Yep 2 minutes of every game on YouTube does for me. Good way to kill an hour or so on my Monday morning work wake up.

Great shout, the show was called Netbusters, with some great soundtracks.
Previous to that was the Nationwide round up on ITV at daft o’clock on Monday night/Tuesday morning, with Dreadzones Little Britain as the into music.
Anyway ,the show isn’t a patch on Quests version & typical southern bias, never showed any of Pools 2nd half chances or when Lacey hit the bar, just yapped on about Wimbledon.

All change, innit?

Highlights move from Quest and Colin Murray, George Elek & Ali Maxwell (Not the Top 20 podcast) and Sam Parkin all dumped. All with extensive knowledge of the EFL.

The Totally Football League podcast dropped.

All that remains is NTT20 podcast. I've found a couple of other podcasts but they are DULL.

I'm new to this one so I'm getting used to it. It's okay but noway near as good as Totally.
I gave up on Totally FL a few years ago as it was 70% second tier, 25% third and then what was at that time a rather disdainful 5% on L2 that they couldn't wait to get through. D3D4 is less polished and much drier but at least they give equal time to L1 and L2.

D3/D4 has gone down the pan now that the older fellow (James?) has moved on from presenting duties. Ed Walker was fine as a contributor, but useless at heading the show up. They can’t even get an episode out at the moment - doubt the Oldham fan can be arsed now they’ve got relegated and the recently-added Gillingham fan is utterly insufferable. Found myself going back to Ali Maxwell’s Hour Of Smug because at least they release something regularly.

They're still recording although the latest episodes appear to be on a new channel according to Castbox.

The NTT20 lads are back. Personally I’d have both of them on every week, so refreshing to see guys who do some serious research into all 72 teams and give some actual insight.

A lot better than an ex-pro enlightening us with comments such as “yeah great goal, he’ll be pleased with that”

Good, they are needed. People that actually know and care about what you're watching make a big difference.

Last Night Glenn Murray was on the Carabao Cup highlights package and clearly had no idea when it came to League Two.

Apparently Mark Hughes knows what it takes to get out of this league - Even though he's managing down here for the first time, FFS come on.

When he was younger he knew plenty about the lower leagues (and non league) - he's from Cumbris and played for Workington, Barrow and Carlisle before escaping the county and playing for Stockport and Rochdale - but since 2008 he's not been near the lower leagues
