I see that next season The ELF football show is on Quest (channel 37 on freeview). Are we about to disappear from free to view T.V. altogether, as it now seems that the main TV channels no longer seem to be bothered about it!
I should imagine that there has to be a hard core of viewers that watch the show, after checking viewing figures it seems that the average audience is about four hundred thousand per show, that seems pretty decent, so advertisers would be quite happy with that amount of viewers. I thought Channel 5 had the right idea of starting the program at 9 o'clock, as it did not have to compete against MOD.
What time will Quest start the program ?, cannot see it being any earlier, as SKY show the highlights between 6 and 9, and i can't imagine quest trying to compete against MOD, so the 9 o'clock slot will be the same IMO.
Anyway thank goodness this season is over and done for me, has not been as bad as i thought might happen, (relegation to the NL) but the football for the last 3 months has been mind numbingly bad, thank god we got rid of FLIP FLOP, and I'm willing and hoping that Brown stays on , and brings in a team that is willing to play their hearts out for STFC.

A statement on the EFL website read: "Kicking off from the 2018/19 season, the four-year deal will see Quest provide 90 minutes of extensive match highlights, hosted by Colin Murray, in primetime at 9pm every Saturday night."
"Quest will also broadcast 10 hour-long highlights shows capturing all the action from every round of midweek fixtures. In addition, Quest will present eight hour-long highlights shows from the Carabao Cup and Checkatrade Trophy as part of the arrangement."

So 9pm it will be. Looks like it will be the exact same format as what we currently have on Channel 5, just chaning to a different channel.

Saturday neyt at 9pm I'm either travelling back from an away or too cunted to see the highlights.

Outside the PL I think we are spoilt a tad as we get decent coverage, when i was a kid if was lucky to see 10 games a season at the top level but now at some points it's ten a week across the 92.

First t.v. game I remember us having was late 88, lost to spurs, Paul Stewart got a brace, yellow ball was out due to snow, that game would have been off nowadays, look at today we had goal highlights and a live game from the third tier, name another country that does that?

in fact i think it is better coverage than we get, i would compare it to when ITV had the broadcast rights when there was a livbe EFL game every Sunday

Fair that then mate, I don't see it so cannot comment but do find the complaints a bit weak, as a country we have shown step 5, the coverage we all get is decent, goals on Tuesday Wednesday live footy almost in time is cracking but we still want more
