Having watched endsleigh extra, and the football league show over the years, I think the quest show is the best so far.
2 hours long.
Good commentary and studio guests.
Colin Murray is very clued up on all 3 divisions and shows genuine passion.
I record it and fast forward the 20 adverts
Overall though its the best representation of the 72 for many a year without the shitty music and fake crowd noises used in yesteryear.
Am I wrong?

Shame it's not on this weekend but they usually have it on even when there are no Championship games.

Was alright until they brought in that bloke from that podcast thing. Not that I can understand what he’s on about anyway.

Yeah it’s pretty good, and Colin Murray seems to have a soft spot for us too for some reason.

I like it as a programme but personal preference is just the highlights, which is why I record it and skip through. They spend too long on the Championship and the way they do L1 and L2 is about right.

I enjoy it. I'm glad EFL football has gone off 'mainstream' TV if only because we get a reasonable amount of air time on Quest. If that was BBC or ITV the best you can hope for is about an hour.

It is definitely the best one there has been. It's just a shame that it's on Quest and probably not watched by many.

The best programme there ever was, was that goals show sky did, just the goals/main highlights, nothing else.
That's all that's needed. There doesn't need to be a presenter, there doesn't need to be 'pundits'/'experts'.

Let's just have a voiceover type, each divisions games showing main highlights of the game and the goals, throw in some stats to bore people. Then show us the tables, maybe a form table as well.

With the bulk dedicated to the most recently relegated premier league sides and Salford!

Don't they still do that for L1 and L2? Half an hour show and rattles through everything.

Thought I was the only one who didn't like him! Don't know what he adds other than generic facts about clubs and sweeping statements. Don't mind the ex-pros on there and I think Murray is an excellent host, but they could've left it at that. Least there's no Mark Clemmit.

Sam Parkin is amusing when Colin Murray starts talking about us as he really can't say anything nice.

I like it. The BBC and C4's attempts were pretty poor. Quest have at least acknowledged that football exists below the Championship with a half hour slot for L1 and L2. Despite being a Liverpool supporter, Colin Murray embraces football at a lower level. That said, I fast forward through the Championship and delete the recording without watching if we lose or draw.

So if you come from 2 nil down to draw away from home you will not watch it?
Surely it's worth watching the programme anyway for all the other goals even if u did not want to watch your own team...
I enjoy the random moments like seeing the fans celebrating, and watching overweight stewards trying to pull back 20 teenagers in Stone Island jackets from entering the playing surface.

Looks and sounds like the sort of bloke who "Discovered" Football after Euro 96/00/04.

The best programme ever on football was Danny Baker’s The Game in the early 1990s. It was highlights of Sunday morning football at Hackney Marsh’s, with Baker and a local ‘expert’ standing on some duck boards on some scaffolding next to pitch. Was on a Friday night when got back from the pub. Sadly it only lasted for one series. You can google it.

Also worth noticing EFL on Quest doesn’t have any particular favour towards any club.

Remember the first episode of Football on 5? Said it all about that programme.

Didn't mind the FLS when it originally started. Although BBC cuts meant that the programme's resources got scaled back significantly by the end with League One and Two never being covered if the Championship didn't play.

Old ITV ones were good, Nationwide League Extra and Granada Soccernight got me into football as a kid. There was no bias, interesting facts and you felt like every club had their moment in the limelight once in a while. Really taught me a lot about lower league football as well. When they moved it to a Sunday Morning though it was terrible, They didn't even show all the goals in L1 and L2 for the first few seasons!

Football on 5 was just terrible. Spent half the time fawning over a select group of clubs (Leeds, Sheffield Wednesday, Villa, Newcastle, Portsmouth) that you forgot about half of the 72 member clubs existed. With Quest I feel every club gets a fair amount of coverage and they'll have spoken about each club at various points in the studio.

Utterly forgot that existed, just youtubed it, shame it wasn't still on 10-15 years later, I would have finally made a TV appearance playing!
The changing rooms shown at the start we're in even worse condition by then
