Everton played very well against Southampton and rightly picked up the 3 points, but City have shot out the blocks on all cylinders scoring 6 in two difficult games without conceding. I really can't see anything but a home loss here.

1-3.

Why let 3 wins in 30 years at Goodison for City effect your judgment though eh?

Yeah I'm going for a surprise (somewhat) draw here as well. 1-1.

Should be a good game this but with city quick out the blocks they'll have too much for the tragic. 1-3

I can see Everton scoring, but not as many as City. 2-3 and an absolute cracker of a game.

Agree with the above, I think this'll be a cracker. If Lukaku is as up for it as he was against southampton then we have a fighting chance.

2-1 Everton

Like last week, a draw wouldnt be a bad result really, just keep a little bit of momentum going. Team could be interesting. Do we stick with what worked last week, or bring back in the likes of Mirallas and Deulofeu? Think we should stick to that counter attacking attitude anyway, as its the way we've played best the last year or so. Played the same way when we battered United 3-0 here last season.

If Sterling goes with his left there he at least makes contact.

Really don't see how Otamendi will displace Mangala based on the season so far.

Came to say £50m for a player who can't even try to tap a ball with his weak foot. He actually risked injury contorting his body there.

Good game of football and could go either way, toure quiet at the moment so expect one of his runs in the second half and if aguero can stay on his feet then he is going to get one, Barry doing a job on Silva, very exciting and got no nails left.

That's poor from Howard to be beaten at his near post by that. It looked like a mis-hit cross.

I really don't see the John Stones hype. He appears decent enough on the ball but is he even a good defender?

No it's definitely an effort on goal, looks like he anticipates Howard trying to pre-empt the cross. Anticipating the anticipation.

Everton played well but we had that bit extra on them but beware utd,Chelsea and Liverpool cos the toffees will take points off you playing the way they did today, city are a force and have more world class players to join the effort to claim back the title.

Again a good job by City. They're being the most consistent team until now. I really like their way of playing.

comfortable and deserved win for City. Might have been different if Everton had got the penalty they should have as they wouldn't have been chasing the game but 3 points for City is a fair reflection of the match.

We gambled with the diamond formation and it failed. It is so difficult to play against a team with two out and out wingers and full backs and not have any of your own. Christ knows what Howard was doing for both goals, but we've now got another left back injured with Stones looking like he might leave. Martinez needs to get a few new faces in as soon as.

Not gonna take away from City. When they're playing well, any team will struggle to beat them, and they were good today. But from our point of view, that second half was absolutely terrible. Rode out a good start by City to grow into the game, and we were probably just getting on top at half time. I was still feeling fairly confident then that we could get something. Came out for the second half, and threw it away. First the injury to Galloway. I thought he was excellent first half, and was a big blow losing him. I thought we definitely made the wrong sub though. Tyias Browning is a right sided centre half, so to bring him against one of the best sides in the League out of position was asking a lot. And it's as if Martinez knew that, as we completely changed our formation second to more of a flat 4 in midfield with Barry behind. And it was terrible. Lukaku was isolated like he was against Watford again, we had no width because we were wasting Kone and Cleverley there, and Barkley, who had played well first half, was now toodeep and completely disappeared from the game. Oh, and Barry was still on the pitch. Im afraid he's finished, he has the turning circle of a skip, and probably all the pace of one as well. He looked an absolute mug against that midfield today. But considering we had no other left back available when Galloway got injured, I think we should have put Barry there, like we did against Watford, and maybe bring on Besic (as the formation we were playing was working at the time). But no, the setup second half was all wrong, the ball never once stuck up front, and so it was just becoming one City attack after another. And once you start letting them do that, it's only a matter of time. And as much as I think City deserved the win, the goals they scored were sickening on our part. Howard cost us so many games single handedly last season, and Im afraid making a few routine stops you expect him to make first half is absolute no excuse for making fucking schoolboy cock ups like getting beat on his near post from a ridiculous angle time and time again. We then followed all this up with some more terrible substitutions. It was obvious Lukaku was isolated and we needed width. With Mirallas and Deulofeu sat on the bench, we brought on Naismith...yet another central player to play on the wing instead of Kone. By the time we finally brought Deulofeu on, it was far too little too late. And then we finished ourselves off with some criminal cowardly defending, and I havent seen it again yet, but what looked like awful keeping again from Howard, as Im pretty sure just as a keeper should never get beat on his near post, he also should be getting lobbed from inside his 6 yard box either.

Very disappointed in the manager so much after that. Losing a lot of patience already again this season with his insistence that Gareth Barry must start every match when he's like playing with 10 men, and this bloody aeful obsession with shoehorning players in playing out of position. Oh, and the fact he still keeps defending and picking Howard despite him being dogs for over a year now.
