Tough one to call, this. Cambridge have been below par after the pre season expectations but they got a good win on Saturday. Corr will definitely score, it's going to happen.

Sod knows what midfield we will be able to put out. Noble is back from suspension but Harley, Oyeleke and McCready are all struggling apparently.

Hope Cambridge come out for the win so we can hopefully exploit the space in behind but I fancy a 1-1 draw. Nichols for us and Corr for the Us.

Having a nice LOL at the idea we'd be coming for a win.

By all accounts at York (very similar in terms of form etc) they were there for the taking, and we didn't bother trying leave our own half until we were two down.

Anyway, we've got a poor record at your gaff (since Martin Butler existed anyway) so I'd imagine we'll be playing for an ugly draw. 1-1.

Small mercies but at least we're not meeting in the conference, or having our players briefly die on the pitch, these days.

I'll revise my prediction to 0-0 in that case. We can't break teams down.

Yep 0-0 for me to, which for us would be a decent result.

Surprised Exeter are 14th, quite fancied them to do well, mind you the same could be said for us.

Please don't dick about dickie!!!

We've gone for the same 11 as the one that played on Saturday which bodes well as that was a decent performance on the whole. Hopefully that continues tonight, a win here could be the catalyst for our season really getting off the ground.

Troy Brown missing for us tonight which is a big miss at CB. No Harley, Oakley or Oyeleke either so could be a tough night.

1 down after 8 minutes, Tom Nicholls with the goal. Doesn't sound like we've started well at all.

Looks like an example of what seperates the men from the boys when playing Scrabble.

Sounds like we're lucky not to be losing already! 0-0 means keeping a clean sheet, after all...

2885 attendance? I thought the Grecians regularly got 4,000 odd?

Marvellous, great result after Saturday's positivity.

I just don't understand why Gaffney didn't get on. Every time he's played he's created chances or at least had an effect. Slew on the other hand is beyond ineffective.

Very frustrating.

It's what dickie does best laker, baffling at times.

Think I'll give Yeovil a miss.

Was there a reason for playing on a Wednesday ?
Well we're playing Yeovil down there on Saturday so was handy for us to move it back a day as we obviously won't come back home between games if we can help it.

Also I understand Exeter were reasonably keen too as they were at Carlisle on Saturday just gone which would have been a late return that evening, writing off Sunday entirely etc.

That attendance figure is atrocious.

I know it's a Wednesday but that doesn't excuse it. Dire.

Thanks to the U"s who made the trip.

Makes sense .....Once over we played Wednesday at 7 15 .....its not so long since we moved the Tuesday kick off back to 7 45 from 7 30

Good win and pleased for Nichols to find the net. Clean sheet too, which is a bonus.

I hear Slew missed a sitter and Noble cleared one off the line but otherwise fairly comfortable.

Fancy us to beat Notts County on Saturday now especially if Brown and Harley return.

Yep, our poor ickle gutless overpaid wasters couldn't possibly handle a few hours on a coach twice a week.

I hope Barry Corr breaks his toes on the beach.

Tossers.
When you think how people in the real world manage , getting up early and going in to work day after day ....I mean I imagine these coaches are a fairly comfortable place to stretch out in

it's pretty sickening how much these clowns get paid for doing something most of us would do for free....
