Hoping for Huddersfield at home (or away). Looking to avoid any L2 team - sick to the back teeth of having to play you lot in the league let alone the cup. Wouldn’t mind a Southern non-league team. We’ve drawn Chesham and Tonbridge in recent years.

Wouldn’t mind Guiseley, Rochdale, Oldham or York - anyone local. Birmingham away would be interesting, too.

Harborough Town would be local for me but not for Vale as such, however oddly Vale played a pre season game there in 2010 as it is where Micky Adams lived so I have been there (just a pitch and clubhouse) so would have memories of Shortwood rekindled I guess!

Wealdstone would be ok, we parked at their ground for the Play Off Final and they had a BBQ etc for Vale fans who parked there (which was free for the parking).

Rushall Olympic or Hednesford would be local for Vale as would Tamworth but likely a real struggle for tickets.

We will end up with something like Lincoln or Stevenage away though, we always do! Since drawing Man City at the Etihad just before Covid hit I dont think we've had one decent draw in either main cup competition. Even getting to the QF in the Carabao last season we always had the lowest ranked team and mamnaged to pull out Middlesborough the only other non Prem side in the QF!

Local derby please Huddersfield or Guiseley.

Failing that York or Scarborough away would be good days out and still in Yorkshire.

No doubt we will get a fellow league 2 team which I'm sure you all agree is boring.

Haven't had a non-league team lower than tier 5 since 1994/95. Any chance draw gods?

Fully expecting Harrogate at home just for the sheer dullery of it.

Would take anyone from balls 49, 53-54, 56-65, 69-71, 74-76, 78-80. If we got a non-league draw and pulled FGR, Sutton, Rochdale etc, I'd cry.

Tonbridge would be my choice.
Anyone but Maidstone.

I'll be selfish and hope for Curzon Ashton away.

Not as close as Mossley or Stalybridge to me, but about as close as I can get with that list. That or Oldham.

Harborough would be the dream draw for me - the mrs and her whole family is from there, including my little nephew who I’ve been indoctrinating into Notts this season. First time they’ve ever made the first round, very nice little town with a few decent pubs if anyone else happens to draw them.

Be ideal get something like Tamworth but knowing full well we'll end up with Stevenage or someone like that. Scarborough (or at least the old version of the club) have turned us over a couple of times in this cup in the past so maybe third time lucky.

Dire draw. Owe them one for the 7-0 last season and Dazzler coming home but it’s a crap one, dull opposition who we’ve played tons of times before and not likely to bring many for this.

That said winnable.

Had to have a little chuckle when the Dons Derby was drawn. What were the odds?

Ours is a great draw for round one local non league side at home. They will bring plenty I imagine and chance of an upset unless we decide to take it seriously which I doubt.

I think it's something like the third time they've been drawn against each other since Wimbledon were promoted to the EFL.

Something stinks about that to me.

Good draw for us at home to Aldershot, although it was a tight game last time we played them in the cup down there a few years ago.

Stoke v Derby the Saturday so with Barnsley down that’s almost certainly a Friday or Sunday tie as well!

It's not a derby and never will be !!! It's bad enough playing them twice a season. A depressing draw to be quite honest.

Dag & Red at home isn't great, but it isn't a disaster either. It's fairly winnable(although a reasonable chance of an upset) and it's at home, so I'll take it. Could have been a lot worse. Just don't draw it FFS!

Some cracking games already made for TV. Weston-Super-Mare getting the best draw possible, Alfreton going to Notts County is another great local game. The fans of both clubs will hate it, but MK v Wimbledon is prime for TV. Curzon v Mansfield, Tamworth v Huddersfield, Worthing v Morecambe and Chesham v Lincoln all pick themselves.

No replays is there? Or is that only from the 3rd round when people may actually want them.
