Accy giving a good account of themselves against Leeds. That Leeds keeper is very flaky on crosses, if I was Coleman I’d be getting the ball launched into the box at every opportunity.

An excellent result by Fleetwood and great credit to all the team and manager.
The Owls will still be favourites but have plenty more to think about. Potentially the biggest ever day in Fleetwood's history, what will be will be .......

It's an interesting one, your very much contesting to be promoted, and we are at the other end of the table trying to keep away from the brown stuff.A draw yesterday wasn't ideal for you lads and while it's an appetising one for Fleetwood fans to get a replay, we need to find some 3 pointers in the league. Of course depending on the draw tomorrow night our thoughts could change considerably...

Fleetwood undoubtedly the 2nd worst for those antics we’ve ever come up against. Oxford being the worst for that.

Good bunch of fans though. Very complimentary of us on one of their blogger videos last season.

Geeez how my Derby have fallen

In the 70's 80's west ham would be a nothing game ... now ... geeez ... its like we're playing Real Madrid... embarrassing.

Could be an all League One 5th round tie.

This works two ways. in the 70s and 80s West Ham fans considered Derby a nothing game too. I suspect they still do.

Derby have worked hard in that half but it’s been a tough watch. West Ham got some good players but Moyes is holding them back with how negative he is and Derby barely created a chance worthy of the name.

Moyes really gets them playing some dire stuff, they’ve actually spent a fair amount recently but the entertainment value is still piss poor more often than not. Fans put up with it when they were doing well, doubt they will for much longer now they’re not.

I thought Mendez-Laing has looked tricky and Derby’s main threat, but overall they are losing the midfield battle, so it is rarely getting up front.

Aye he’s probably the last of the old school dinosaurs in the Premier League unless Allardyce or Pulis rock up somewhere again. Obviously on a different scale but when we’ve had this type of football at Vale even when you win it’s such a joyless experience. As you say definitely gives them a much shorter leash when results turn for the worse.

Pretty comfortable for West Ham - early goal helped.

Derby could have had a penalty though?

TBF Derby won the league twice in the 70s so were quite a big team then but yes guess it's hardly going to get the juices flowing.

They were never a big team. Just had the Clough effect.

Very professional performance from West Ham without getting out of first gear really. Pretty lifeless cup tie in the end and very routine win for the Hammers.

A crap game in the end, West Ham were very good at suffocating the life out of it and we didn't really have an answer against better players.

Sometimes it's important to remember that it's a team full of kids and free transfers full of players at the end of their careers. It might be enough at this level to be competitive but not against a side with 20 times the wage bill full of internationals.

Important not to be too negative, especially after 19 unbeaten, but certainly a bump back down to earth. Max Bird taking a significant injury also doesn't help, but hopefully we will be in a position to bring in a striker and right back tomorrow.

Apart from the year they won it when Clough hadn't been there for two years of course.

Some effect that.
With a squad he built. He took them from the 2nd tier to Champions.

Derby are also one of the few clubs who have spent more than half their history in the top flight - like Wednesday.

Exactly the same amount of seasons as West Ham. 8 more than Forest, 10 more than Leicester and 12 more than Leeds. Not exactly a flash in a pan. Last 20-odd years obviously haven’t been great, which coincide with my viewing of Derby County, but I think any club that can average over 25k gates at this level shows a healthy size to the club. Leeds, Forest, Leicester, Southampton, Wolves and Sheffield United couldn’t manage it.

You see if you average 25k after a couple of seasons down here not one.

Surprising that there were so many gaps in the crowd yesterday when you are sooooo massive.
