How do you feel about this new consortium taking over with so little links to the town?
Are they in it for the long-run?
What are you expecting from the new owners?

I hope I ain't coming across as being patronising or being a prick, but just seems a bit dodgy from my point of view. I've seen dodgy owners come and go for Darlo - Despite the rivalry, it's never nice to see clubs mugged off due to having idiots running a club.

See you soon, when we meet again.
Up the Darlo!

If I was a pool fan I would be worried. One of main men in consortium is known to me. Not a lot to piss in. Chancer. Asset stripper. Good luuck

I am a PoolS fan , and I learned long ago to ignore Mr Park and his baiting.... I hope he enjoys his new home and new league , but for now let us grown ups talk about Professional football...... These new guys seem ok, I remember Darlo being took over and promised to be in the Premier League in 5 years , then left one of the best grounds in the lower leagues to do so ; remind me Mr Park, how did that work out for you ?

You still whinging, get a grip. I asked a few decent questions, because it all seems dodgy.

Something doesn't seem quite right.

Maybe that's why he's trying to warn you. Let's just hope it works out for you guys and it doesn't go pear shaped.

when I saw the thread title, I was expecting a Real Madrid fan saying they'd made a late swoop for Rakish. Surprised.

Listen very carefully , I will say this only once....... Mr Park is a wind up merchant.... I think they banned him off one of our message boards... you will notice the lack of Poolies on here responding, I'm only here to advise the rest of you , he'll try to wind someone else up when he gets no response..... I'm probably the last and only Poolie in this thread, you have all been warned ..... I will now self destruct !

Wind up merchant? For what, asking genuine questions. I think you've got a lot of growing up to do.

The account that is on the Bunker is a fake account, which someone has set up in my name and is deliberately causing arguments on there, thus leaving me with such backlash. This has already been indicated to the moderator of that site.

If you search the posts of that account, it references digs to myself and your fans/team.
If I really wanted to wind you up, I'd post completely different stuff to the items displayed further up.

I wouldn't mind some of the questions further up been answered though....

I was cautious initially but his recent interviews/Q&A session has filled me with a bit more confidence. I know this is what the Q&A sessions are designed to do but to me it does seem genuine.

They have already met with the council to discuss the buying of the ground, offered Ronnie Moore & Sam Collins new contracts, and promised to back them fully.

A lot of the comments made are generic of any new owner but obviously we now wait to see if they can walk the walk..

Interesting times!

Serious question, what is it that looks genuinely " dodgy" ?. Not talking about local rivalry and a bit of a wind up but actual " facts".

The official residence of Roman Obramovich is Moscow while George Reynolds was from the North East. It's easy to generalise but it's a dangerous assumption to make when it's based purely on location.

Big difference between Chelsea and Hartlepool United.

All I am saying, it looked dodgy from my perspective. Having seen them for Darlo/Portsmouth/Hereford United and numerous other clubs - It'll be a shame to see it keep on happening to new clubs in the FL.

Not really, dodgy owners are dodgy owners regardless of the level of club. You appear to be making an assumption purely based on location rather than any evidence.

Blimey, think some people need to get real. I raised concerns purely based on what has happened at other clubs who have no owners with no history/links to the town or football club.

Pooliepride, I've just had a read of the Q&A and to be honest... The bloke comes across very well and looks like the club/fans will have more transparency. I wish you the best of luck.

No you stated" something looks dodgy" but failed to back it up with any evidence. There are as many success stories regarding owners with no history as there are disasters.

Anyone wanting to buy the ground off the council is dodgy, believe me.

New owners mentioned a football only clause when discussing the purchase of the ground if that's what you are referring too?

You see again that's a huge generalisation. There would be many benefits of the club owning its own ground if it's done the right way with the right safeguards put in place. I love the way this consortium have been branded as " dodgy" without what likes no proof whatsoever to back it up other than them not living locally. We had a chairman in Craig, a city fan for years who nearly killed the club.

Park's never been the same as since falling of his bike? Why didn't you post on ITB or vital instead of here?
If the new owners have no money, that won't change things because IOR were potless.

The very fact that Andy Park is posting about HUFC means that he's on a wind up. We've had years of his warblings.

We're fine Andy, now get back in your box.

Madrid? You really think Rakish Bingham would sack off working with a true great of the game like Ronnie Moore for a bit more cash? No chance
