I was up on the border a couple of weeks back and met some lying birders who said they'd driven (not sailed) across from Finland. If that map is anything like accurate, this (freshwater) river is running from the Baltic into the Barents Sea - which is interesting.

... and those dastardly Norwegians were lying about those "border posts" - Yellow Norwegian, Red & Green Russian and Blue & White Finnish.
