if I had a fiddle that belonged to a cat who used to play it on the street corner for the people that walked past as he needed money to buy a new car to get to London to see the queen when she was back from holiday with the prince in Turkmenistan exploring the natural wonders of the soviet state but the cat never got enough money for the car till the road got shut by the police as a lot of people were being murdered on the street and they didn't know who apart from they were being strangled by horse hair so the cat sadly died before being able to see the queen but it did get enough money to see Queen live in concert at the MEN arena but ironically the cat got run over straight after the show and later died of a mixture between its broken legs, broken heart and gastroenteritis. Nah, cos of technology and that we'll probably regress or at least evolve at a slower rate. Also modern medicine keeps weaker people alive now so it's not really survival of the fittest.

That doesn't provide much proof though. Fact remains that the two biggest causes of evolution are natural selection and viruses/bacteria and both are a lot less influential in modern society than they were given the fact the human race has come so far and made many more advancements in the last couple of centuries than they have in the entirety of civilisation before that (according to my boy NDT on Cosmos anyway). Judging evolutionary change over such a relatively short period seems stupid too.
