Win here and we pretty much guarantee playoffs, and maybe stay in with an outside chance of autos.

Be interesting to see if we make many changes, Williams might be out which is a blow, can see Grubb starting hopefully he can produce the kind of performance he did at home to Cambridge last season.

Cambridge seem a bit inconsistent and aren't a happy ship reading some of the stuff on here, but they looked decent in the first half at their place and recently smashed Bury away so can't take them likely.

Not sure if Cambridge's most famous fan on here is coming but if he is then he should enjoy the food, I would recommend the samosas off of Girish's stall outside good stuff.

Looks like Cambridge need a point to be strictly sure of safety, so definitely something to play for. We need the win, would still want to finish fourth ideally from a play-off point of view. I can't think about auto's I guess by the end of the day things will look clearer, loosing not an option in any event.

Easy FGR win. We've been on the beach for weeks - the Bury result was shocking but for precisely the reason it's the only time in this lamentable season that we've bothered to play near our potential.

Three more games until we (hopefully, although with our recruitment team, who knows) get shot of the bulk of these wasters.

Hopefully Cambridge are on the beach, we're not great at home and could do without it going to the last day.

Dayle getting a start with Williams out it is, and Gav coming in instead of Collins. Looks decent, I might have given Reuben a go to blow the cobwebs off plus I think he provides for others that bit more.

Both sides playing well, this is possibly our best display at home all season. We look a really good side, but Cambridge doing enough to keep us in check. Still not too much in it, in real chances.

Goal up and playing well if not at full tilt, Cambridge will surely show a bit more fight second half as they've not had much more than moments as yet. Nice to see our two replacement starters combine for the goal.

Gotta see this through, could be a massive 3 points. Playing well so far, atmosphere decent as well. COYR.

Survived a late flap having gone back in front from a dodgily awarded corner. Should be almost confirmed play-offs at least now?

Confirmed playoffs, right in the shake up for autos. Happy with that.

We're the form side of the division. Not a bad time to do it.

That second half showing wasn't that bad seeing we put out our second string side. I haven't got a clue why Calderwood opted for this but I think he thought we had nothing to play for. Or else it could be that he doesn't rate FGR :shifty:

Frankly I'm not too bothered with today's defeat
but I am a tad disappointed with Rovers' winner as our match commentator is claiming it was a goal kick and not a corner. I was watching the live stream but I couldn't tell and I suspect neither could the away fans.

Anyways, at times I thought the game was a PSF so I can't really make up my mind on FGR's chances of promotion. All I know is their style is pleasing on the eye but I've got questions over their back line and possibly keeper?

You're right Vanni, our defence and keepers (we've had a few this season) are liable to give away soft goals but tbf our defensive record is surprisingly decent given how nervous we tend to look at the back.
