So another massive 6 pointer at the bottom of League 2. We could guarantee our safety with a win, if Barnet don't beat Newport, and Chesterfield could go down if Grimsby win at Swindon.

Expecting Chesterfield to come out and really go for it, they'll know they have to win. We need to match their effort and put the kind of shift in we did last week at Cheltenham. Can see this being tight and scrappy.

We've given away 60 free tickets to local refugees for the game, lucky them. Hopefully they know what sort of standard to expect.....At least the weather will be nice though, apart from the thunderstorms.

With a tough tie for us hoping FGR get a point here to virtually end any threat of relegation for us.

Chesterfield looked pretty toothless when we played them on Tuesday. One of their forwards looked about 50 and had matching agility though so that might not have helped.

Must admit I expect Chesterfield to ‘go for it’ on Tuesday but they never really did. They look devoid of confidence, unsurprisingly, and I expect FGR to get three points tomorrow

My one thought was at least they can score goals and we certainly know how to ship them but clearly that's not been happening for Chesterfield recently, so hopefully we can pretty much secure our league status with a win.

I expected them to go for it against us, and they didn’t.

With respect, if they werent up for it against their fierce local rivals, they never will be. Expect a close game here tbh

We're not gonna 'go for' anything. None of the players have done that all season, they're not gonna start now. Everyone's accepted our fate so meekly

Unbelievable win by FGR, Chesterfield could easily have been 3-1 ahead at half time.
5-5 would have been a realistic result.
Good support by away team and most at TNL wish them well in the Conference.
An away supporter came on pitch when FGR scored and was led away by stewards. I was told that afterwards he slipped and fell in a mess of mud.

Forum was down yesterday tbf.

Chesterfield unlucky, played some good stuff created a lot of chances. 4-1 was a bit ridiculous tbh. Hope they bounce back quick.

If Chesterfield had converted the chances they had in the first half the score could easily have been the other way round, the odd thing was that after each wasted chance their players looked like they hadn't expected to score. Collins in goal for Rovers pulled off a couple of really decent saves, as did their keeper, but the real game changer was the introduction of Grubb...who seemed to have decided that the only way to win the game was to run at the opposition, rather than play it around needlessly, his ball for Doidge to put Rovers back in the lead was an absolute peach. Two more goals in time added on created a somewhat false impression that the home team coasted the game, that was not the case.

Were Chesterfield's back four all over the place again? I've always thought their defence is what ultimately sent them down , and they should have seen and rectified this back in January.

They weren't the most solid, but neither are ours. It was more a case that they tired after the hour. When they chased the game they started to visibly collapse as an effective back line.

Less said about this the better. Weird place, and ground, very non league in terms of atmosphere and crowd but a good day out actually. One of the more friendly clubs who totally respected the position we were in and the anger and emotion in the away end, particularly towards the end of the game.

Fans on the pitch trying to approach players and management pretty much summed it all up for me. Sad day all around and looks like today it is going to go right off at the club so that'll be interesting
