Before I get to the results, I'd just like to thank all of those who played this season. A shame that the season was disrupted and we lost a few regulars but fortunately the majority found their way here and although default entries aren't ideal, it hasn't been a complete cluster-fuck.

FINAL RESULTS
24/05/2015

Average Score: 24.1
High Score: 40 – VILLABOY
Low Score: 10 – GUNNERSON/MARKFACE

True Scenarios: 12/25 – A B C D E H J L R S U W

Highest Possible Score: 76 – L R S U W Z (ANY CORRECT SCORE)

As expected VEGGIE LEGS claims his first title. Not missing a week since joining in 2009/10 and having missed out on bronze by one point in 2011/12, it's his first TPLG trophy of any kind. A comfortable win in the end finishing 79 points clear, the largest since JAX won by 237 in the inaugural season (2007/08).
Total Points: 1,231
Average: 31.61
Success Rate: .575
High Score: 58 (Week 11)
Low Score: 10 (Weeks 19 & 36)
Weekly High Scores: 58 (Week 11), 54 (Week 37)
Weekly Low Scores: none
Highest & Lowest Positions: 1st (14 weeks), 31st (1 week)
Most Occupied Position: 1st (14 weeks: 25-38)

Also an ever-present since joining in 2009/10, our runner-up is LEEWILSON. While he may be disappointed that his challenge crumbled in the final few weeks, it's progress on his previous best league finish of 3rd (2010/11 and 2012/13).
Total Points: 1,152
Average: 29.39
Success Rate: .570
High Score: 54 (Weeks 24 & 31)
Low Score: 6 (Week 23)
Weekly High Scores: 44 (Week 12), 46 (Week 16), 54 (Week 24), 44 (Week 26), 54 (Week 31)
Weekly Low Scores: 16 (Week 33), 8 (Week 37)
Highest & Lowest Positions: 2nd (16 weeks), 33rd (1 week)
Most Occupied Position: 2nd (16 weeks: 16, 18-20, 26-28, 30-38)

Making up the podium is debutant JUSTINQPR. He couldn't have asked for a better start to TPLG life going top in Week 2 and staying there for a record equalling 23 consecutive weeks. But for the final third of the season his form was very up and down. His title challenge fell apart, even dropping out of the top three briefly, but he upped his game in cup weeks, going all the way to the final where he was narrowly beaten by THE ONE. He may be left to ponder what if but all-in-all, it's been a very promising first season.

Previous podiums:
2007–08: JAX (1366 points), MUNKIKI (1129), JOHN-BCFC (1124)
2008–09: JAX (1220), FOREVER GOLD (1181), MUNKIKI (1150)
2009–10: TONY CLIFTON (1245), PINEWOODY (1182), CHRISMCFC (1155)
2010–11: LIU (1236), BUSBY BOY (1183), LEEWILSON (1159)
2011–12: LIU (1119), THE ONE (1044), TONY CLIFTON (1003) [note: 35–week season]
2012–13: LIU (1261), THE ONE (1243), LEEWILSON (1217)
2013–14: CAPTAIN YOSSARIAN (1314), THE ONE (1293), CHRISMCFC (1284)

Neither were able to put any real pressure on JUSTINQPR for a podium place but Cup winner THE ONE edges out THIS CHARMING MIKE for fourth. The only other top ten movement being NILSSON climbing above the absent CHRISMCFC.

Having been 11th and three points off the top ten, a poor final week sees MARKFACE drop outside of the top 15 by success rate. Midtablers KILLERBLAZE, TOMMY_B, MR ELMO and JAMES just miss out on hitting the 1,000 mark.

At the bottom, VILLABOY top scores to climb to and finish in his highest position of the season.

Only took part in the cup as I joined too late but will definitely play the full thing next year, great fun and very professional.

Excellent as usual Munkiki. Happy with my season. Got close enough to Veggie to worry him but took a few risks that didn't pay off. No regrets. Well done to Veggie for excellent consistency throughout.

Great stuff as per usual Munks. No silverware for me this season but an improvement in league position I think. I look forward to your end of season TPLG stats pack.

Well done Veggie Legs. Let's hope Norwich win the playoff final to give Munkiki more motivation for another great season.

:milk:

I was convinced up until the last couple of weeks that I was going let the lead slip, well done to Lee for pushing me all the way to the end. Thanks as always to Munkiki for running this, I hope it continues next season. Still the best football related game on the internet.

Well done Veggie Legs. You were consistent throughout and deserved to win the title. Congratulations to Lee Wilson and JustinQPR as well for a great campaign.

It was a disappointing season for me..but i'll be back next season to try to win the title which has eluded me so far. And now that liu is back, maybe we can renew our rivalry :D

Thanks again Munkiki for running this again, especially after the forum switch. Cheers

I beat James. I am delighted!
Many thanks for running it, I fully appreciate the effort that goes into it each week to keep it going so a big big hand to you for that.
