Our first win in March since it signals the end of our traditional winter slump.

Whichever fixture is the one where we secure our league safety.

There I've started my optimism!

Notts County home (just to bring back memories of the 89th minute winner the day after the Sven and Sol Campbell business, and Lee 'Dickhead' Hughes trying his hardest, in vain, to wind up the fans. What a day)

One of our fans got punched by a steward that game and the steward got arrested and marched out the away end by police. It was worth going to see that alone. I remember Micah Hyde jumping up and spiking the ball like it was a volleyball to stop our player having a one-on-one and Deadman only giving him a yellow card for it too

I loved everything about that season. Even when we lost I didn't give a shit because it just meant we dropped down to 4th or 5th which was still amazing considering we had a manager as shite as McParland in charge at that stage. Oh and Lee Hughes' efforts to wind up fans were never ever in vain, he succeeded every week.

Didn't know anything about those incidents, sounds like a memorable away day for your lot! Deadman is such a shocking referee.

I can never talk unbiased about Hughes, I can't stand the bloke. But after all his attempts, successful or otherwise, to wind up the fans, seeing his team lose to an 89th minute goal and him really disappointed and pissed off... It was magical.

Whether or not a murdering scumbag should be even trying to goad up fans is a point I'll not go into any further.

I'm looking forward to snapping Matt Green's legs at the knee on the opening day and then going on to win 3-0

Both Bristol Rovers games, only because I have a pint on each one with a gashead.

I'm back by the way was one of the Kiwi_Wombles when last on here, thought I would change my name to make it easier for everyone.

I hope you enjoyed our central location .... its only when I go elsewhere I really appreciate our town centre spot, a bit awkward for parking I admit, but my advice to anyone coming, get here an hour early and there is plenty, And any southerners just have to have a pint of Camerons , then you will see why Andy Capp is always fighting with his missus!

I've done Hartlepool 6 times, won't be the 7th this year as I will be going to Spain vs England instead. Quite enjoy the trip TBH, not a bad day out. Made easier by the direct Grand Central trains now! The 17.50 back to London is very useful!

Notts County away, Orient away, Pompey away under the lights should be good...
If we are having a staggering season an Easter Monday trip down to Plymouth in the sun could be enjoyable
