Seems a bit knee jerk on the outside looking in??

Plenty of clubs would welcome his services I imagine.

When you get thrashed by us under Fergie you know you’re finished as a manager

He won’t leave the North West. Unless it’s very close by like maybe a Yorkshire club. No chance for Oxford. To think he was allegedly our first choice back in the summer. Some fall from grace, not helped by the sales of all his best players.

Much rather him than Bellamy

Not sure what makes you say he won't leave the North west but I don't know how many other teams will be interested in him

Seems we've already decided on Bellamy though unfortunately

The same reason he left Brentford to join us and has since never ventured further than Leeds. He lives in Bramhall and has his family all here. One of his kids plays for Man City youth. Oldham or Bury would be my guess for his next club. He might have to wait a few months but it seems realistic.

I would have liked him before or after Lee Clark. I think Ryan Lowe will be in charge for a while unless we go on another disastrous run.

No chance Oldham will be looking for a new manager. Ask any of their fans and they're only ten minutes from winning the play offs and signing that northern keeper they all love.

Amari'i Bell and Devante Cole
It goes further than the above 2 players. David Ball to Millers, Conor McLaughlin to Millwall in the summer, very experienced guys who have been difficult to replace.Rosler has gone down the youth route which is admirable but we need some ‘old hands’ We are light years away from last year’s team, a new guy might save us, either way there will need to be some rebuilding in the close season

How has Toums been doing for since he left us in January?

Afraid I've only seen him in one game as been in hospital. Tbh he must be wondering why he left a team rising up the table and joining a team going in the opposite direction. How did you rate him as a player ?

He was the player with a bit of smarts that we needed, and by the end he beginning to get further forward and score a few. Absolutely critical in giving us the grit we needed in midfield, was central to our revitalisation.

Mixed views on Rosler leaving, unlike most fans, at any club, I don't think I have enough football knoweldge to decide if he was a good / bad manager. Many of our recent defeats could have easily gone the other way, the only really bad perfornance was the last, Donny away, we were like headless chickens. I do know that we still have some talented indivdual players at Codland, but for some reason, this season, they seem incapable of playing as a team.

I do have a chuckle when I here 'pundits' state we lost our best player in Devante Cole, as Boycott would say a stick of rhubarb could play better than him. Toums, like the other players, is pretty average up to now, lets see how he settles in.

If Cole was your best player, you'd have never made the playoffs last season. I know some do better at one club than another, but he was gash for us, the only surprise was that he actually attracted championship interest.

Rosler brought out the best of Cole, I smile at the criticism of him, he brought a lot of the ire on himself yet at the end of the day he was our leading scorer. Reminds me of the Fleetwood fans who constantly used to knock David Ball, he was another who blossomed under Rosler and the team have missed his guile and the quality of the goals.

Looking like Shez.

Will probably keep you up, but whether he can improve on the heights Rosler took you is to be questioned.

John Sheridan brought in to be our saviour. From what I know he appears to be a good as any to get the job done in the short term. Our performance against Portsmouth, particulary the last 20 odd minutes, gives hope that with a little fine tuning the team can pull things around. On a side note every credit to the Portsmouth fans who made the massive journey for a night game in numbers and were very vocal in support of their team.

Sheridan was good at stopping the rot when we were facing relegation. He just was not the man to get us up the year later. I suspect he is exactly the sort of person you need.
