New to this forum so looking forward to the crack
After skirting relegation for too long last season the club seem determined to put this behind them, so far we have made 5 new signings. Losing Maxwell to PNE was a blow as he's a top goalie but today have signed Chris Neal from Port Vale and Alex Cairns from Rotherham, heres hoping they do a good job between the sticks. Also a striker Holloway from Wycombe so busy day for the Cods

Not seen anything yet as to which players are being released by the club, believe there are around 6 players out of contract so guess a few finger nails being chewed

He signed for us for quite big bucks and early on promised to really shine. Last season he struggled with injuries for too long and we were a weaker team without him. If he goes good luck to him but would like him to stay

Chris, I think nothing is further from the truth. Unless I am reading this wrong the Chairman is backing him all the way and today on the club website Pressley is commenting on the quality of the new signings. Bear in mind there can now be no loan signings from Sept through to January so this is impacting on clubs having to get players on board before the season kicks off

Sad to see Kidderminster struggle and think of kiddykid, they were a top team not that long ago. Nellybabe will have been well chuffed by his teams cup exploits eh and always have had a soft spot for Grimsby so maybe catch up with Grimsbyforever. By the way Oakroader quality gray over here in the Fylde, turned big 7 last week, eyes goin, selective hearing naturally but pleased to say the golf is holding up ( at the moment ) !!

Pilley has always backed his managers which makes him a good Chairman. Yet again he is investing in the team but he will want his £ of flesh and Pressley will have to deliver the goods. I actually thought Alexander got a raw deal last season, ok the football was'nt pretty but where the club finished was very good for our inaugural season in league 1. The Chairman pulled in the purse strings in the close season and GA was forced to look for players with potential but no experience and quite frankly it backfired big time which is why we struggled so much last season.

Without doubt Pilley does not want to go through that again ( ditto every Fleetwood fan ) and is supporting his manager but he will expect a good return............

Now then Codaplenty how are you keeping? You guys have come a long way since the old Blue Square forum abruptly ended with no warning, used to be great fun waiting 12 hours or so for our posts to go on, not exactly flowing conversations on there eh!
I see you had a close escape from relegation last season, bet you were sweating a bit on that weren't you?
