I called Jordi Gomez a dickhead when he was leaving Anfield once.

Edit: completely forgot. I also met Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in Sainburys when I was about 12/13 and told him my favourite player was Beckham. Footballers probably don't like me.

I met Keith Curle in the building society yesterday, and a few months back, Michael Raynes, Joe Thompson and Jason Kennedy walked past me as I was sitting outside a pub.

When I used to live in Liverpool, bumping into Duncan Ferguson on a night out was a regular occurrence, I once also bumped into Dietmar Hamman.

Arsene Wenger once stole a pen off me.

Met German Alemanno and had a conversation with him. I told him he missed the point too much.

If you know what I mean...

Got drunk with Craig Easton and John Macken (separate occasions),

Interviewed a raft of players and managers (most boring: Adam Chambers).

Received an award (for Most Oxford Kiddies Made Cry on 06/05/06) from Mick McCarthy.

Rode Ollie Palmer on Blackpool beach.

You sure that award wasn't for being the biggest twat in East London?

We get loads of former Wimbledon players turn up at our place. As I often work in the VIP car park, I get to meet them all. I often have a chat with Harry Bassett.

Oh, and Chris Perry liked a facebook post of mine earlier.

met loads of them and in a social setting have found the majority of lower league players to be really decent blokes, top half premier league players on the other hand.....
My favourite snub is Robbie Keane and Jermaine Defoe. I was on my way to China and the whole Tottenham squad were in the airport, on the way to South Korea for pre-season. My intention was to talk to Stephen Kelly (who Southend had, had on loan previously) I had no interest in talking to any of the others. I couldn't see Kelly anywhere so I went over to Keane and Defoe to ask where he was, before I had opened my mouth Defoe has said 'autograph, yeah' and Keane handed him a pen. I said 'no, d'you know where Stephen Kelly is?' Keane said 'umm, over there I think (pointing to the pub) why d'you wanna talk to him?' my reply was 'cos he played for Southend'. They looked utterly baffled as I walked off to the pub and spent half hour drinking with Stephen Kelly, who was a nice guy to spend half hour chatting to.

I was once on a tour of the Nou Camp. It was made clear before the tour that you don't see the players, they don't train there, but this was one of the rare occasions when they had decided to train there. We were in the dressing room when a group of them filed in. I got my photo taken with Marc Overmars. My brother was on his way out of the room completely oblivious he pushed his way past Patrick Kliuvert.

We still take the piss out of him whenever we see Kliuvert on TV.

I've also had my photo taken with Lee Dixon (when he was a pundit)

I've met Kluivert as well, at the Nou Camp mini stadium where they sometimes train, I was 15 or 16 at the time and he stopped and talked. Nice guy.

Saviola, Mendieta, Riquelme, Valdes stopped as well. Luis Enrique and Carles Puyol blanked and just walked past.

Paul Robinson (of ex Leeds, Spurs and England goalkeeping fame) used to take my brother into school sometime and my old man still has an England tracksuit from him.
Met Nigel Worthington and Gary Mills on New Years Eve's (not the same night), both in the same curry house. Handshakes and photos galore.
Met Kieron Dyer, David O'Leary, Michael Ingham and Keith Houchen also, again all on different occasions

The firm I used to work for did some work in Andy Johnson's old house that he sold to Nigel De Jong. Seen him but never spoke to him. Met Wayne Rooney outside of Macclesfield's ground in 2008 and drunkenly told John Barnes he's a better rapper than he ever was footballer before our game V Liverpool, He told me to piss off.

Once offered Billy Davies a bottle of water aswell to which he went off on something but I couldn't understand a word of what he was saying.

I bumped into Slaven Bilic last week at Canary Wharf on my lunch break, he was wondering around with a cigerette in one hand and a cup of tea in the other.

He looked like he'd just got out of bed, didn't look like a man who makes alot of money.

I couldn't wish him any luck.

At approximately aged 9 (circa 1990) I ran the Lyme Regis fun run with City players Shaun Taylor and Scott Hiley (now City legends).

Back then I was the fat wheezy kid so they decided to help me through the run, which was nice.

I used to go out drinking with most of the Wimbledon FC team during the 80's.
Also once helped to shave off Neal Ardley's eyebrows at a party in the mid 90's, when he was a regular in the 1st team. Go swimming with him quite often at our local swimming pool.

I've met quite a few including Kieron Dyer, Rob Lee and Peter Beardsley who bought me a pint at Newcastle's Christmas party. Also met Bobby Robson who said 'Happy Christmas son' in the toilets to me but wasn't amused by my response of 'yours would've been happier had you sorted your defence out'. Also met Peter Crouch at a club in Ealing and we had a good chat. Made him laugh when I saw his missus by his side who came up to his crotch area in height, remarked along the lines of suitable height for access, well you get the idea.

On another occasion, me and a mate went down on the train to watch us at Plymouth and after the game, Neil Austin and Andy Monkhouse were on the platform so went up and had a chat about the game. They said they were off to a friend's party in London but they had tickets in the same coach as me so I joined them. Austin opened his kit bag and it was full of vodka and tonic. Typical footballer's drink, not my favourite but didn't turn it down and ended up mortal as we pulled into London. Had a good natter about Pools and got a few hunches of mine about various things at the club confirmed or denied.

Surprised it was tea, the tab doesn't though. He looks like he has a massive alcohol problem.

Now if this includes the FA Cup winning 'crazy gang' team then I will be well impressed.

Spill the beans.. I'm sure I could guess that most of these hunches were based around Ken
