So, another game, another chance for us to stop conceding shedloads of goals. Will be tough though, Accy are flying high and are an established top side at this level, whereas we are none of those things.

Remember the last time we played them, they were on the way to storming to the Conference title and we drew 1-1, had a Sky Sports News reporter at the old ground as (I think) they could have wrapped up the league that night. Meech got our goal.

Hoping to see Monthe back, according to Cooper he should be back fit which is a boost, especially with Iacovitti limping off Tuesday. Anything other then a loss would be a good result, we definitely need something to kick start us very soon.

Club have banned a few young lads for stuff that happened at the Swindon game, being over zealous again from what I hear and not likely to help the atmosphere. Talk of a silent protest.

What happened and was it due to away fans in the home ends?

Please let Cooper be in charge for the Notts game and try not to injure Noble would be great if he featured too.

Just kids trying to act hard behind a steward the usual 12 year old swearing and shouting abuse at opposition fans only to run away if confronted.. Pathetic really.

You get them at every club. Do you think Cooper can turn it round or his too arrogant to see his mistakes? Has he started blaming the fans and randomly isolating fans favourites yet?

He and Noble seem hell bent on ignoring the fans, his arrogance and selfishness are showing at the moment, he keeps going on about individual mistakes but can't seem to see it's his tactics causing them, Noble has been awful this season and made up his injury to avoid playing on Tuesday so he's not a fans favourite anymore.

If we go a goal down early tomorrow I can see the atmosphere getting very bitter. There were a few chants of you don't know what you're doing on Tuesday and I left on the 80th minute but I think we want Cooper out was sang on the final whistle.

Not looking forward to playing you lot ;)

Now do you see why we didn't want him back. It wasn't sour grapes at this level when his head goes into self destruct phase he is a liability. Nothing against FGR as a club I just dislike the arrogance of them as individuals.

It was. By about 6 people. The rest clapped the team off. Not sure which was funnier.

I will disagree with above comments ref Noble.
At end of every game he applauds the FGR fans.

And yes to Faceless Notts County fan reference MC:
"too arrogant to see his mistakes? Has he started blaming the fans and randomly isolating fans favourites yet?"

Today's interview was him saying that Plan A didn't work, tried B, C and D... So he's going back to Plan A. I'm just amazed at how many people still fawn after him.

I'm confused. What was Plan D?

In fact what was Plan A?

We did. You wanted a fee. We thought we could get the same sort of quality for free. We didn't. Too late now, windows shut. Bollocks.

I sincerely hope that's blx despite his poor form. But nothing would surprise me at the moment.

We're certainly keener to go at Accrington than they are at us. They're not putting us under any real pressure at all. Promising is, indeed, the best description.

Short flurry from Accy and they're ahead. Shame, we actually sound like we're competing but haven't got a shot worth the name away.

Sounded knackered at the end. Did manage to hit the bar, a draw would have been a massive bonus at this stage. See Cooper brought the lad Stevens on again but barely heard him mentioned. Did he add anything? Even Shams might have been a better bet.

FGR winning the shit league with us and Chesterfield, despite our best efforts to be the shitest they lead on GD...

Shall we just all fold now?

Solid but toothless performance. If we can actually build on it we might stand half a chance, but have to wait and see I suppose.

Talked to DV, seemed very cheerful and relaxed, not too worried by our form. Not sure our fans all feel the same but he knows best.

Really hope we don't get lumbered with Noble.

Sounds like Cooper has gone through his "blame the fans" stage is now in the "isolate the best player" stage. Next you have the world is against me stage before he wallows in self pity. I'm looking forward to a potential implosion.

Please don't sack him before Saturday.

Also he was one of only two centre-backs at the club. I don't think we would have let him go, and he found himself in the starting line up, then we signed Clint Hill. I still wish we'd kept Ellis as backup but I think his departure has been more to do with him not being willing to accept a place on the bench, which is fair enough we often have a go at players who are happy to just sit on the bench and collect their wage, Ellis wants to go somewhere else pretty much as soon as he finds himself out of the first team.
